I think that’s got to be considered. Clowes is clearly intent on keeping Warne long term, which having a category one academy is in opposition to. Warne has no interest in the youth teams, so the money could be better spent on first team players.

Yet another promising prospect we will lose for f*** all because the big boys have come calling. Can’t blame the lad for wanting to move on from here, but it really is quite depressing. Almost makes you think what’s the point in having an academy?

Think that first half was one of the worst 45 minutes of football I’ve ever seen, contributed to by both sides. Luckily their players put about as much effort in as ours did.

Better second half, and just about deserved the win. Unconvincing, but top 6 is progress at least. Putting Sonny Bradley on to go 3 at the back almost killed us AGAIN though. When will he learn…

I am actually, I’d never disregard anyone’s opinion on here, no matter how much I may disagree. There are a few remaining posters who still believe in Warne, and who am I to tell them different, they’re entitled to their view.
