This news should reach Italy. Remember how Juventus got caught buying/bribing their titles in the 80's and earlier? They should be sued by every Italian team that ever existed. I would watch those court dates. Me and my pop corn.

TBH, if we weren't in Administration, these claims would go straight in the bin, because they have absolutely no merit in Law or under the EFL's rules. They're akin to asking a Court to determine what, on the balance of probabilities, would have happened to DCFC's results if the club hadn't breached P&S limits : the variables and range of alternative scenarios are utterly non-predictable. Maybe we would have signed cheaper players - a Jamie Vardy or an Ollie Watkins, say, who might have won us even more points than the players we did sign. It's completely hypothetical.
The Administrators, however, have to list it as a Business Risk for any prospective Buyer. It's not even a liability though, and the two clubs aren't creditors until a legal claim is upheld by a Court, so it would only be off-putting to a new Owner if they felt the claims had any chance of succeeding. I doubt whether the EFL will get involved because they've already determined Derby's punishment, and the whole can of worms that would be opened if they supported these claims would kill the competition stone dead.

When is it Preston's turn to make a claim? We finished 6th in 17/18, Preston 7th . If we had been deducted points in that season for failing the 3 years to 2017 they would have been in the playoffs.
That's now £45m to Boro, £45m to Preston and £6m to Wycombe.

Let's not forget that all the original charges against us were dismissed - but the EFL chose to appeal the result.
At that point, they could have just let it go - moved on, and regardless of what the likes of Boro said - could have just pointed at the hearing outcome and say "it was investigated and they were found not guilty". The matter is closed
But no - everything they have chosen to do since then has led to this position, where they let it drag on far too long and they are in danger of setting precedents that have clubs sueing each other as a result.
As many have pointed out above - once you start pulling that thread, where does it end?

Im not worried about this, we are a founder member in the flagship division.  The EFL will have our backs, keep an open dialogue with the fans, and prove they are a competent steward of the league. Oh wait...................

They have done nothing - except prevent us from appealing a penalty because they knew we have be saleable. So with that bit of timely threat they prevent just being done. …. Was this “negotiation?” 
 
sorry I thought rules were rules ? So all of a sudden the ffp deduction is resolved . Funny how it all happened so quickly once we surrendered. Nothing more then protection racketeers
