Ellafella got a reaction from uttoxram75 in Wayne Rooney
Yes indeed, because you haven't got a blokey "handle" have you @Philmycock so I'm afraid your claim to be offended is somewhat disingenuous; but good try.

I suspect though that bell-ringers are pretty adept at drawing bell-ends. ?

Please don't post innuendo about men's sexual parts, it offends me and you've crossed the line

Never seen such hyperbole in all my life. 'Furious locals' i.e. kids who find it funny drawing dicks on a famous person's car.
I can't imagine that the church-going Karen's and Keith's of this world are drawing cocks on cars in retaliation for parking misdemeanors.

I'm not of the woke persuasion @RoyMac5; but i am a pragmatist and a risk-analyser; and it's a public board and we need to be careful that we're not judged as turning a serious post into a joke about female anatomy in typical "blokey" fashion.

Lol. Some wouldn't believe that suggestion possible! But whilst there's hope I'll continue to stay positive. It's only when I think there isn't hope in a situation that I become a 'realist'! ? ?
I really think Rooney has a good future as a football manager ahead of him and for me I think that Derby needs to take advantage of all the positive things that go along with having a 'world famous' manager. I wonder if he'll be as innovative a manager as we've seen in Derby's past? Anyway fingers crossed that DCFC has a bright future. #COYR

Or 'Doubting Thomas'?! ? I can't believe the team hasn't sunk without trace tbh. I know we've had poor matches and not always the results we want, but on the whole you can't deny that the squad, management and club are leaving it all on the pitch. #allwecanask #COYR
Have you watched the latest utube video? Some really enjoyable moments (outside the games), what a leader Curtis is.

And as always, @Ellafella, I wholeheartedly respect your views.
Should the forum hierarchy agree with you, and subsequently remove my post, I will apologise sincerely, and in the (hopefully) appropriate manner, but in the meantime, I shall keep my apology for any offence caused, aimed directly and solely to you, but with no less sincerity.

I think that's inappropriate and should be removed. Whilst I totally support the nomination and it is deserved, to turn it into a bit of male jokery is wrong, offensive and a breach of the standards that this Board normally maintains. There is a line and this has crossed it.

Didn’t know where to post this but I thought I’d let people know if they haven’t seen it, the stereophonics and TomJones concert in Cardiff Friday and Saturday has now been cancelled due to Covid concerns, 100,000 people expected over two days, could well be a number of cheap hotel rooms in the next few days if people cancel. Just hope they don’t do the same with our game, although I think it’s because it’s classed as an indoor venue.

If we win the next couple of games I'm sure we'll get a points deduction for it, just to put minds at rest at EFL/Gibson Towers.

Ellafella reacted to StantonRam in The young players from the academy who are coming into the first team..
IMO in recent years by far the best aspect of being a Rams fan has been the way that 'the kids' have emerged and done sterling work for us. Had more faith been shown in them earlier under previous managers then we wouldn't have spent silly money that we didn't really have on expensive but average bench sitters, bankrupting ourselves in the process. Now we find ourselves in precisely the situation we have been dreading all these years, heading for League 1 with a team mostly consisting of young &/or local &/or untried talent.
And you know what? It might actually be the best thing that's ever happened to us. OK we might lose a couple of the best young players (Knight won't want to play in League 1 as he is already an international) but there always seem to be more coming through. And this current crop will run through walls for Wazza because he gave them a chance.
So we should give thanks to those who made this possible, get behind the kids at every opportunity and let them know that we believe in them 100%. We are fortunate to be able to watch such a talented and hard working bunch. This is how football should be, primarily a means for local talent to find an outlet and connect with and contribute to their home town team.
And once the new ownership is in place their first act should be to commit to continuing to invest in the Academy. In the long run it will save us millions.

Ellafella reacted to Taribo in I heard was mel was there today
As I understand it we need Mel sweet to gift the stadium to us, as soon as T’s are crossed and I’s are dotted then we can really judge Mel’s tenure

The EFL, in a weird kind of way.
If it wasn't for them Mel would be still making Stella signings like Butterfield and Blackman like the fans wanted.

Mel for funding the academy over several years and encouraging its development; Darren Wassall and team for developing the players; Wayne, and other managers, for picking them and thereby encouraging the development

He was club captain.
wanted his 2million, but too tight to pay for a taxi or too drunk to walk the short distance home.
he should have put a stop to the whole sorry saga.

Ellafella got a reaction from uttoxram75 in Keep the positive vibe going
It’s so key that we transmit positive energy from the stands. It’s hard to stay positive I know but I’ve been exceedingly proud of Derby fans this year. Another 90 minutes at Bristol last week of constant singing. Immense.
