  1. Probably my most memorable and favourite game was at the BBG against Newcastle. I think Kevin Keegan was managed of them at the time. The referee was sooo biased towards Derby that the fans were cheering and singing for him and the Geordie fans were ripping the seats out from the Ossie lower. I think they had 3 players sent off and we won something like 4-1. I thoroughly enjoyed that game and sang my heart out from the Columbo terrace 😍

Also enjoyed Norwich Away, the Lampard year, when the floodlights went out. I think we were losing when the lights went out, then managed to win the game 4-3.

Floodlights going out. Now that reminds me of a game. The first league home game at PP against Wimbledon when the lights went out. I recall we were winning and Uriah Rennie abandoned the game after the lights came back on.

I was reluctant to post and certainly not having a go at anyone on here whose circumstances have changed after the sold out signs were put up but there was around 6.000 tickets on general sale for over a week for anyone that wanted one.

Perhaps so. But at least a month ago as I've been checking for weeks.

I could have got tickets but chose not too, I'll be in Belper and most likely be watching the game in The Green House on King Street, It's showing 2 Prem games...but hopefully with the game being announced only yesterday they'll have the game on.

I looked at the green man we site. I've only been in once and that was for food. That was a mistake. Do you think there will be many in there?

We dont know what sort of football we will be watching next season, so lets at least give him chance, not write us off before a ball has been kicked.

I was going to make the same point. Warne was brought in because he knows how to get promoted out of this league and is doing a good job again. He's put together a squad and tactics to get us to second in league 1 and that was his objective. Fingers crossed we get it done next weekend.

What none of us know is how he would want us to play and what players he would like to sign in the championship, especially as he is likely to have a different budget to Rotherham in the championship. Pearce has already said that we wouldn't be there to just make up the numbers and money would be available. That and the lifting of restrictions, I actually look forward to seeing what Warne and his team can do.

If we can't beat Carlisle at home then we don't deserve to go up anyway to be blunt.

Jeez, do you ever say anything positive? We've just set a club record of points in a season and the most number of away wins and are on the verge or promotion, but you have to make a comment like that. How about getting into the spirit and enjoy the win?

  7. Last game Carlise is sold out and the game this weekend is away. Given there is a reasonable chance we could get promoted this weekend or next, is anyone aware of anywhere showing the games live? In the main, the club live stream is usually overseas, so I'm not sure if anywhere can show it. But if they can is anyone aware of where it is being shown? I think there would be a good crowd and atmosphere if there are places showing it.

It would be good if the club could stream the Cambridge game to Pride Park as I'd love to be part of a crowd (of DCFC fans) if we were to get promoted. I haven't seen anything on the official site saying there are doing this.

  8. It's interesting to see how a lot of people are now suggesting 3 at the back rather than a back 4 that people have been saying is how we should be lining up. I've liked the idea of having a back 3. It allows us more players to attack, but gives us 5 at the back when defending.

Big game today. No complacency please. We have to be professional and get the job done and not assume it's 3 points in the bank. Northampton will likely raise their game against us.

    COYR!
