FKANorwichExile got a reaction from jimtastic56 in List of who you would sign this summer?
If you're a young forward, or even the club looking to loan one out, the first thing you ask is "is McGoldrick staying?". He's the type of player you want youngsters training with day in, day out.
I'd put money on clubs being more willing to loan us a striker if his partner would be Didzy, not Collins.

FKANorwichExile reacted to Walkley Ram in Summer Rumour Mill
He'd not need one if he signs the contract.

FKANorwichExile reacted to Gerry Daly in Free agents in the summer
Good for you but there is a reason almost all top players are in their 20's. We need to reduce the average age of our team and have more players in their mid 20's. Warne has made that abundantly clear and if he signs any 37 year olds I'll eat my hat. If I had one.

FKANorwichExile got a reaction from Mimester in 4 years ago…
"Stop spying Bielsa", Keogh stumbling his way out of the back, Mount not needing to be stood up to beat the dirties, the absolute limbs... What a night to be a ram. It's certainly up there with the Pearson Wembley goal for most rewatched clips for me.
Then... Wembley happened.

FKANorwichExile reacted to Caerphilly Ram in Paul Warne appointed as Head Coach
Good to hear him calling out some of the concerns that arose regarding his approach in certain corners of our fan base as things he’s learned from. Saying he now knows we need a bigger a squad, that he stuck with players out of form and should have been more ruthless, and should have made subs more proactively is quite telling. For those who hold their concerns with Warne hopefully that is him seeing his own faults and next season we’ll see that he’s learned from the experience of this season and improve on those areas.

FKANorwichExile got a reaction from NellyRam in Craig Forsyth - served 10 years
For a winger, turned wingback, turned fullback, turned centre back he reads the game very well. In an ideal world we strengthen at the back with younger legs and use him as cover and rotation, but he's certainly good enough for another season if needed. Plus he seems like a top guy.

FKANorwichExile got a reaction from Kathcairns in Curtis
He wasn't the most talented on the ball, he didn't ooze class like McGrath or Igor, but if you wanted a player to stick his head in front of a shot to save a match for you, it was Curtis. The pain he must have been in to play every minute of the relegation season at his age must have been incredible. I just wish he could have gone out lifting the playoff trophy.
They'll be hard boots to fill, and there will be a leadership chasm in the dressing room.

FKANorwichExile got a reaction from David Graham Brown in Confirmed close season renewals, incomings and outgoings
It's a wholesale clearout. Warne was obviously not impressed, but to dump most of the squad is almost unheard of. A few of these will come back to bite us.

FKANorwichExile reacted to Ambitious in Free agents in the summer
The anticipation is that he’s likely to drop a level according to Exeter fans. Surprising as he’s been very good in both games against us.

We came 7th with the joint least amount of players used in EFL history. Playoffs was two quality Jan signings away in reality.

FKANorwichExile got a reaction from InstaRam in Reasons to still (hopefully) be positive...
You know what's great? Anyone we sell this summer will go for market value, not pennies on the pound. If we get offers for Cashin, Knight, Bird etc we can judge them on their merits and not on how long the transfer fee will cover the wage bill for. Warne has alluded a couple of times that we'll be able to make some moves, and we signed a technical director (I think?) who can do that for us, not Steve McLarens son masquerading as chief scout.
We're sore now, but this time next season we might well be in for something special.
