I really dont understand why Lawrence gets all the stick he does. Hes our best attacking player by a country mile. Rooney making captain Lawrence is trying to get more out of him. Davies should be captain is all i hear and see. So we would be 15 points better off would we? Davies is a leader on the pitch and off it. He dont need no arm band...but if the armband gets more out a player like Lawrence then its worth a gamble. Lawrence has done well this season so far in my opinion.

Yeah and was always in the side. That squad had money spent on it and Lawrence was never replaced. Lawrence has been picked by every manager hes played under at Derby.

Ince would do absolutely duck all in our current set-up, or in any of the teams we've had since we sold him.

Amazing how Rowett,Lampard,Cocu and Rooney all have picked Lawrence. I mean...what do they know??? The answer is simple. Its the same with Keogh when he was here. When we have better then he wont get in. Its as simple as that. 

Id swap Lawrence for Tom Ince now.

It is madness that people think rooney is the problem or holding us back. It is a miracle we have got as many points as we have, those that think otherwise need a reality check. Our squad is absolute crap, there is not enough quality nor depth for championship football. This season is a complete write off yet Rooney has given us some kind of hope that we may stay up, for that he deserves huge credit not critique.

Theres alot of players at the club that are not the answer but its all we could sign. Our defensive record is very good and Davies has given everything he can to get that. Nobody is saying hes the answer. Who did you expect Rooney to sign for £4.5k a week?

Rooney is getting as much as he can out this squad. We have had 2 poor games in a row. But could have easily got summat out of either game. There is not alot of options for Rooney to do much about it. The Championship is relentless and this squad was always gonna find it tough. They have to bite down on the gumshield and keep fighting. Hopefully still be relatively close in terms of points to have a chance in January. Takeover done and Rooney then be able to sign a few to boost the numbers and ability. The other minus 9 is looming so theres nothing we can do about that. Anybody else sick of hitting the woodwork? Thats 4 times in the last 5 games!!!
