Really? I would rather have 21 Oxford home games and a club, than no club at all.
What ever is wrong at the moment can be fixed. Having no club can't.

So you say chopping and changing after a manager has already picked his squad was a bad idea. Then you advocate doing exactly that. Surely getting a new manager in will take a few days maybe weeks, so he will inherit a squad of players that probably wont suit his style. Next season he brings in HIS players and we go again. He loses 2 games and we move him on. Genius. That is if you can recruit a new manager who is willing to take on a club a few games in with no money and reliant on loans and freebies with an entitled fanbase like we seem to have.
There seems to be a lot of snatch panic over the fact we have not played well and lost a couple of games. This will be a long term thing WHOEVER is in charge. I don't think you can blame anyone at this stage, certainly not Clowes.

Think people are underestimating how big of a rebuild this is, 2nd season in 3 games in and everyone thinks we should be walking this league, we still can’t spend a penny by the sounds of it, just because we’re a big club doesn’t mean we’ll p*ss the league it took Ipswich a while Bolton stuck still, Sunderland a few years, give it chance and stop just expecting after the sh*te we’ve gone through

Exactly my point. We would need massive investment, even if we get the golden playoff money.
The so called richest game in football, wouldn't even buy those two alone.

I read a couple of headlines from Derbyshire Live this morning:
"Nigel Clough wades in on Derby County struggles ahead of Crunch Clash"
"David Clowes sent Derby County transfer message by 'uber-paranoid' Paul Warne"
These are just sensationalist headlines for what purpose? Nigel Clough certainly didn't "wade" in and I am sure Paul Warne speaks with David Clowes on an almost daily basis and he is fully aware of Derby's requirements in the transfer window.
Although in my 70s, I do try to keep up with technology as far as I can. I can't help but think that we are starting to live in a pretty toxic society, where many people want to voice their opinions about all sorts of topics and people on the Social Media. I have no problem with that per se, provided the opinions are based on fact or reasonable assumptions. I have no time for people who just seek sensationalism, winding people up or make hurtful, personal comments about others. I am happy for criticism of actual behaviour but not personal character assassination. Just imagine how you would feel if it was you who was the subject of these comments. You don't know the effect such comments can have on people -suicide, mental health issues or maybe just want a transfer away!
This Forum has voiced a few of those after the first couple of games of the season. There should be criticism of the team's and  individual's performances but please let's avoid personal, sensitive comments especially when these cannot be backed up with hard facts.
"Kane Wilson couldn't cross a road"  "scariest thing is we have bought two central defender who can't play football" "I guarantee Waghorn would have missed Wigan's first goal" "can stick his f****** why all up his arse" "Bird is more sparrow than golden eagle. An exhibition player not willing to break sweat. I'll drive him to Hull myself" "We've got a pub team manager in charge of a jugganaught" "Bradley has the mobility of a superglued traffic cone"
These were from just 2 posts on the Forum.
I'm not a prude but can we just think about what we are writing about and to other individuals. Hopefully, we all want all our players and staff to bring success to the Club - so lets show our support.

    Last season we came close

    Close to playoffs
Close to top 2? Questionably. Had we been able to hold onto leads we would have gone up.
Warne sacked? After two games this season. Get real guys some of these threads just show the entitlement culture of current UK society. It’s going to be a hard slog to get promoted following administration. No matter what division you’ve just come down from.

defensively we’ve always been frail. I can’t remember many seasons where I was confident we’d not concede when noses in front. Even in promotion seasons.

I know we need goals, but we also need to stop gifting chances to the opposition.

Oh my god,,,,,Really? How many times do reactionary fans go on a rant every time we lose a game.
Isn't it the constant changing of management that is partly to blame for the situation we ended up in?

    No. Early days.
Opening day is always a lottery, most teams come out of the first 3 or 4 games with mixed results
A weakened/unfit/reserve team underperformed in the cup
Everybody is psyched up because of pre-season comments about promotion so it seems worse, plus the fact these games were at home
Transfer window is still open, and we're still chasing 2-3 players so its not a finished squad
Warne knows how to get out of this division. Once players have gelled with each other and the system, and are playing with a target man (who may still be Collins) we can properly become his team and get playing as he thinks can get us out of here.
Signings don't look great so far but are we really judging by just a competitive game or so on the pitch, if almost all your team is underperforming, it must be hard to have your best game.
I will say though that after the hyperbole about being leaders, standing up and being counted, and driving the team on, that was was seriously lacking tonight
