Let's hope that Blackburn's ref and linesmen are amongst those who are injured.

Crass AF. We'd sit comfortably mid-table without the deductions but we're a L1 side. 'With friends like you'...

Kinder reacted to S8TY in Wayne Rooney
Not sure if this a WUM but I look at it like this....regardless of his managerial knowledge and decisions what Rooney has done is give stability to a very unstable situation and that is a fact not an opinion.
Imagine what a mess it might've become without Rooney being here because I can only imagine that the youngsters that we've had to rely on heavily this season have gone that extra yard and wanted to impress Rooney because he is Wayne Rooney
yes i think he's made errors he's learning on the job but at least football wise he's given stability and continuity and kept repeating that all he can do is influence what happens on the pitch and the training ground and I for one think he's done very well.
I think we could have been down by now without his leadership and also a big mention to Rosenior and all of the coaching team
I actually think had Rooney made the club even more unstable by walking away we would have struggled to get anyone decent in to run it under our present circumstances and would've meant more of our youngsters possibly wanting out ......WR deserves a proper crack at it here when/if we get back to a normal situation but regardless of this I will never forget what he has done for us in extremely difficult circumstances whether we miraculously stay up or not

Will never be a Rooney fan. Thanks for the effort and all but regardless of the result at the end of the season, new manager needed I think for 2022/23.

Talk my daughter for the first time since the playoff game against Leeds. She found it a bit intimidating that day, enjoyed it much more now she's a bit older (10), I might have an excuse to go more regularly now ???

Sorry to hear that, buddy, but maybe you need to give it more time?
I'd like to think the pain fades for all of us, over time, but I guess we're all different. And of course, the amount of time may well affect things.
Mum left us aged 43, 43 years ago. Dad went 41 years ago, age 49. I'm already 59... 10 years older than what Dad reached... so I've been without a parent for 41 years (I was 16 & 18 when they went).
That's a lot of years...and a big percentage of my life so far... for the pain to fade... .. but fade it has. I won't deny that.
But it's also a lot of years for the happy memories to grow ever stronger.
I do consider myself lucky to have at least reached the end of childhood before they went (Albeit only just!). Which is more than little sis can say, as she was motherless at 7, and orphaned at 9 years old, so maybe the pain remains stronger for her, and of course, her happy memories of mum & dad are far fewer.
I'm not saying force it, of course. You have to soak up that pain you feel, and you have to heal in your own time, in your own way. None of us have a choice on that, and the way we react makes us what we are... and we're all unique!
If I have to give you one tip... Make sure the happy memories outweigh the pain. You'll not go far wrong in life, if you can manage that.
Best of luck buddy... and don't forget to send your lost loved ones the odd smile, and the odd thumbs up. They'll be watching. I'm convinced of that!

They did a song about Steve Gibson as well:
Messenger of fear in sight
Dark deception kills the light
Hybrid smoggies watch the sea
Pray for father, roaming free
Fearless wretch
Insanity
He watches
Lurking beneath the sea
Great old one
Forbidden site
He searches
Hunter of the shadows is rising
Immortal
In madness you dwell
Crawling chaos, underground
Cult has summoned, twisted sound
Out from ruins once possessed
Fallen city, living death
Fearless wretch
Insanity
He watches
Lurking beneath the sea
Timeless sleep
Has been upset
He awakens
Hunter of the shadows is rising
Immortal
In madness you dwell
In madness you dwell
Not dead which eternal lie
Stranger eons death may die
Drain you of your sanity
Face the thing that should not be

New blood joins this Earth
And quickly he's subdued
Through constant pained disgrace
The young boy learns their rules
With time the child draws in
This whipping boy done wrong
Deprived of all his thoughts
The young man struggles on and on, he's known
Ooh, a vow unto his own
That never from this day
His will they'll take away
What I've felt
What I've known
Never shined through in what I've shown
Never be
Never see
Won't see what might have been
What I've felt
What I've known
Never shined through in what I've shown
Never free
Never me
So I dub thee unforgiven
They dedicate their lives
To running all of his
He tries to please them all
This bitter man he is
Throughout his life the same
He's battled constantly
This fight he cannot win
A tired man they see no longer cares
The old man then prepares
To die regretfully
That old man here is me
What I've felt
What I've known
Never shined through in what I've shown
Never be
Never see
Won't see what might have been
What I've felt
What I've known
Never shined through in what I've shown
Never free
Never me
So I dub thee unforgiven
What I've felt
What I've known
Never shined through in what I've shown
Never be
Never see
Won't see what might have been
What I've felt
What I've known
Never shined through in what I've shown
Never free
Never me
So I dub thee unforgiven
Oh, oh, oh
Never free
Never me
So I dub thee unforgiven
You labeled me
I'll label you
So I dub thee unforgiven

Truly sad news.
Thoughts with those left behind, but especially those boys, as I can relate totally to the pain they are now going through, as mum went the same way, at the same age.
The pain eases with time boys, but it’s fair to say… 43 years later… you never forget mum, and never forget the happy times spent with her.
Stay strong. Make her proud.
