Yeah I’ve seen the pic. It’s unbelievable. Im thinking there needs to be some margin of error with it given how close it was, another day it could say just over the line unless we think the technology is 100% accurate. Still you’re right and we can’t really complain the technology doing it’s job. If that pic is genuine don’t think ive seen anything as close as that
My lad and I in the West Stand went absolutely bananas thinking we’d scored! Took us ages before we realised.

Sorry mods, meant to put this in the main Derby forum. Can it be moved please?
-
Not sure if this needs its own topic so please feel free to merge. I just wanted to show some appreciation for the job Radio Derby have done over the past weeks and months. I don’t live in the area so listen to the Rams Daily podcasts and these have been absolutely invaluable. They’ve given great summaries of the day’s events with interviews with key people.
I know Ed Dawes isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but I really like him and he’s a true fan. And I think Chris Coles is a very fine journalist and destined for bigger things. I’ve relied on Radio Derby for years, just about picking it up on MW to listen to the one and only Graham Richards’ commentaries, and I think the current coverage is very good indeed.
Anyway, I’ve woken up in a brilliant mood today and I feel truly optimistic for the first time I can remember. I hope everyone going to Middlesbrough has a great day, behaves and bring home 3 points.

What a massive relief. Please Quantuma, get on with it now.

Just got home. Fantastic game, controlled the large part of it and our midfield was well on top. So pleased for Foz and Festy to get their goals. I’ve really fallen in love with this team and manager.

What a brilliant initiative, I’ve donated (not £5k!).

Every need. The guy had just taken Ebosele out and the ref (as usual) gave nothing.
Got a great round of applause from the fans because it was a rare bit of justice from the evening.
I think every fan enjoyed that challenge, but not as much as Byrne did!

Back in Brum now and nursing a whisky to soothe my throat.
That red card absolutely killed the game. Haven’t seen a replay and admittedly it was a reckless challenge, but unless it was dangerous then surely the ref gives a yellow. It was the first challenge of the game. Completely changed the complexion of the game and we had our backs to the wall from then on. Thought we defended as a team, subs were very defensive but understandable. Shame Sibley’s touch deserted him when 1 on 1, I have to say I can see why Rooney doesn’t give him more time on the pitch as he hasn’t delivered on his potential yet. He’s got it in him but needs to start producing. And what a jammy bloody goal to concede.
In spite of the result, we had an amazing night. Took my lad to only his second away game and I’ve honestly never been in an atmosphere like it. Not got to many games this season as my lad plays so much sport at weekends, and I’ve never known the fans to be so united behind the team. And so LOUD! Didn’t stop singing for 90 minutes and I felt proud to be part of it. The support was incredible tonight. Can’t wait to get to some more games, I might have to give Kinder Jnr a minor injury to get him out of his fixtures!

I don’t think we can underestimate the player’s role in this. Do you want to go back to London to join an Prem team? Yes please.
He’s been great for us but he’s only been with us for a relatively short period of time. He’s got the opportunity to join a team in the Prem. Rooney said he couldn’t stand in Williams’ way. I imagine the same applies for Plange, except we get to loan him back. It’s crap for our long term prospects but for the short term, it’s invaluable.
-
Amazing finish from Plange, how has he done that??

I ordered some. It got as far as Leicester and now the tracking says it's on its way back to Vocation. No attempted delivery, no explanation as to why it's gone back to them.
Hope you get it sorted mate. It’s a good beer, the coffee taste is really lovely. It’s very sweet though, like a lot of the Vocation barrel aged beers, almost a bit too sweet for me. I’m having a Necessary Evil tonight and I think it’s a better balanced beer.

It's a nightmare since they developed all the rough land near the stadium. Get there about 3 pm is my advice.
Thanks Angie but I won’t pick my son up from school in Solihull until 4:15! Looks like there are some options on here:

Got mine and my lad’s tickets for Huddersfield. Will be his first away game for a few years. Any advice on where to park?

I had a delivery from Cloudwater up in Manchester yesterday. A selection of IPAs, DIPAs TIPAs. I’ve been sitting for the last hour in a comfy chair in front of the fire catching up on today’s news and had a couple of their DDH IPAs, real hazy dank West Coast beers. Really lovely but I feel a bit smashed and I’ve got to go and cook!
-
Good luck to him. At least we’ve got decent options in that position, provided Buchanan stays.

Anyone else picked up on the fact the minutes published tonight state “there are still three interested parties”
So who is the third one?
1) Appleby with Riley Rich, Morgan, Moxley behind him.
2) Ashley - no idea who his supporting cast is/would be for the actual ‘doing’ roles
3) ???
It can’t be Kirchner and it surely can’t be that Cryptocurrency rubbish before Christmas.
Any ideas?
I’ve heard it’s the Scottish Kray twins. Heard that yesterday but thought they’d been out of the frame for ages.

That didn't happen though did it.
That’s exactly what he said on the programme. Do you know differently? You must admit it was a derisory fee, albeit might have something to do with Marshall / Byrne deals. I’d personally imagine those were both cash deals though, given the situation Wigan were in.
-
Just listened to it - it’s from 30 mins onwards. Really good to get more national coverage.
Absolutely shocking that Kieron Maguire said he spoke to another Championship Chairman, who said he didn’t know Shinnie was on the market and he’d have paid £100k for him. That’s one Chairman. What the hell are the administrators playing at selling him for £30k? -

Haven't cried like this since the last death in my family... I love you Derby County and I really hope that one of the parties interested is willing to take the risk on our amazing club.
