Good grief. Fantasist at best but more likely a complete crook.

The youngest’s first game today. He’s been buzzing around the house like the roadrunner since 0530! ?
Hope he enjoys it!
Wish we could go but we’re on holiday so will be watching on Rams TV.

When I renewed my British passport last year I was able to take my own picture and submit it online. Maybe that was only for Overseas applications. It was far easier, cheaper and quicker than renewing my Aus passport.
I made the mistake of doing this recently. I clearly can’t take a decent photo because I look like a murderer and am now stuck with this passport for the next 10 years. I also had to renew my driving licence and they automatically used the same photo. I’ve honestly never seen a worse photo of myself, but it took so many attempts to get an acceptable one that I went with it.

Fantastic news for our academy and Darren Wassell, Nunn trained at Southampton but chose Derby, the reputation of our academy is imense, lets keep it going.
Looking at his stats would be tempted to try him as a forward again,
I agree. I think we’ll see him score with a wicked genuflection.

I’d be gutted if we sold Bird. I rate him above Knight and I’m a big fan of Jason Knight. If Bird could add a few more goals he’d be Prem quality for me. Really hope we can hold on to him, but if not we have to get a sensible fee.

Hence why I said for the right price. Sublet and Knight don’t really play in the same position. Bielik and Thomas do.
If we never sell anyone we won’t generate funds to reinvest. So that’s why I say at the right price.
Lease it out mate…!

It’s a position where we clearly need to recruit and Oduroh looked promising, albeit judged on 45 mins. Definitely a very credible option though.

I was at a do last night and a mate introduced me to Richard Stearman. What a lovely guy, he was really friendly and we chatted for 10-15 minutes and he had a photo with my lad. Some of the things he said:
The players were shocked about Rooney leaving and still don’t know why he’s gone.
He doesn’t see McGoldrick as a number 9, says he’s most effective attacking from wide. Said we definitely need to bring in a number 9.
The players we’ve just signed all had offers to play for more money at a higher level. They all really want to be here.
I really got the the impression that they’re all excited about this season.
I do have to caveat the above though. You see…

Decent work out today, some very positive signs and just lovely to be watching Derby again. Wish I could have been there but thanks to Rams TV for the coverage. Marvellous.

I’m enjoying Shaun Barker trying to pronounce Barkhuizen’s name!

This is brilliant news, I’ve got a lot of love for Curtis. He’s a genuinely good human being. Make him captain.

I’d be disappointed to lose Fozzy, he’s been an absolute servant to this club - yes he makes mistakes - but they’re never mistakes through a lack of effort.
Strikes me as an absolute gent, a total ‘nice guy’, which in my opinion has let him down in his career - a bit more confidence (even arrogance) on/off the pitch and he’d have spent 10 years in the Prem, still, I’d rather have a Fozzy in the dressing room than a Mason Bennett.
I’d rather have Fozzy Bear in the dressing room than Mason Bennett. Hell, I’d rather have a real live bear.
