If he doesn't stay and signs for Orient for a year, i hope that when he comes with them, he gets the best appreciative reception ever.
The man has put his body and soul on the line for the club and is the epitome of all the good things about our great club that has come from the turmoil of the past two years.

Why won't he be leading the team out at Wembley?
Edit: I chatted with him on Wembley Way when walking along to the Villa playoff match. He was full of support for the team, despite apparently having been discarded. I would love it if he had the chance to lead out a victorious Rams team at Wembley.

I was reading the clickbait thread about Pride Park a few weeks back, and it got me thinking.
The area where I sit/stand, is pretty grubby to be honest.
Cobwebs and years of grime baked into the surroundings, I've often thought of taking some cleaning wipes in and giving it a good going over, but matchday probably isn’t the time to do it.
The summer break though, could be the perfect time!
We could show our appreciation, by devoting a few hours of our time one weekend of the clubs choosing, and descend on PP on mass with our dusters, polish and swiffers.
Sunderland did something similar, when they engaged volunteer fans to fit new seats, so it is possible.
Maybe the club could utilise us in a different way, as they see fit.
Even if only 1% of ST Holders responded to the cause, that would still be 200 people. Pledge 4 hours each, and that's 800 hours of free labour, more than enough I'd have thought to get the place spick and span.
We could bring our own materials, and take away the used products, to save the club even having to hire disposal facilities or purchase equipment.
Get the tannoy playing out some tunes, to keep us entertained whilst working, and we could have a great community day out, helping in a practical way the club we all love.
We can't match the owners financial commitment to the club obviously, but we can show how much we appreciate his involvement by using our free time to help the club.
    What do you guys think?
Maybe @angieram could sound out the Ramstrust membership, to see if there's any merit in the idea?

I was part of the set up for the EFL awards yesterday and it really struck me just how wonderful our Club badge is. We are the Rams, it's a Ram. It couldn't be any more recognisable ...Just look at it compared to the rest of the EFL. Love it!

Another win, that’s 5 unbeaten playing with 3 at the back. 11 points taken from a possible 15. Sibley getting minutes, Knight putting in the effort at rwb, Roberts doing well on the left, NML looking less shattered, the midfield working better. Passing and movement improved.
Finishing still frustrating, substitutions still later than they could be, but not all so doom and gloom as post Bristol Rovers.

Thought rhe big difference last night was Mendez-Laing taking some of the strain off McGoldrick by dropping back into midfield and making himself available for the ball. A few times the only person marking him was the referee!
He won one cracking interception there too.
McGoldrick playing higher up the pitch equals goals.

Yes agreed and presumably that stems from where we were last summer to recruit. So cant blame recruitment last summer as they did brilliantly to get our squad together but we couldnt be as strategic as anyone involved would have wanted. For me its still difficult to feel negative about this season from where we were but that doesnt mean I am a happy clapper snd without benefit of any inside knowledge of what is going on at the club ahead of next season some of PW's decisions now seem inexplicable snd disappointing. Yesterday Cambridge beating unPosh was the chink of light we needed and we snuffed it right out again. Whether penalty was dodgy or not if we really want play offs we shouldnt have been in the position for it to matter, not least from timewasting

This is a big issue for me as well. He initially tried 3 at the back, didn’t work. Reverted to a four. Worked really well. Towards the end of our run changed the four slightly. And then now fully back at a 3.
Going back to a defence of smith, fozzy, cashin, sibley seems so obvious as our best way forward.
then hourihane and bird in midfield, with knight ahead, nml and barkhuizen wide and mcgoldrick up top.
that team just makes a lot more sense than any picked lately. Can sometimes have Collins in and move mocgoldrick back too. Dobbin a wide option.

    Genuine question. I simply can’t remember…
why did we ditch the formula that got us on a decent unbeaten run? Chiefly Sibley and smith either side of Cash and Foz and NML playing further up the pitch, not being asked to defend and  bird sitting in front of the back four?
even if we got found out a bit, surely that was our most cohesive team?

An absolute Spanker of a shirt, seldom seen round these parts !
The 1985-86 away shirt from the Arthur Cox third division promotion season, worn predominantly by loyal servant to Derby County Paul Blades in what would be his break through season.
The shirt was worn in a number of away games that season.
Osca took inspiration from the 1977 Umbro away shirt of the same colours, a blend of the lighter blue of the early days and the darker blue of what was current.
The player shirt as seen here was of a lighter blue than the replica shirt.
A lovely piece of our history and a major turning point that season turned out to be.
Osca made the shirts that we wore on our journey back to the top.

To Derby County fans of a certain age this man was God, he was our generations Kevin Hector, his name would reverberate around the Baseball Ground for many years, even long after he had left us, it was his goals that dragged us kicking and screaming up the football league, Peter Taylor’s last moment of genius to add to those many legends he had spotted years before with his mate Brian.
Bobby is a super proud man, he still doesn’t understand the cult hero status that he holds in Derby with the fans, I think that it is a sad reflection on football that he is now working as a baggage handler at Leeds airport.
He should be walking around in diamond encrusted shoes, driving his Aston Martin, he has tried numerous years to let back into the club as a coach with the youth team but that became impenetrable under a certain individual and also MM.
He worked at St George’s for the FA for a number of years.
In my eyes he is an absolute legend of Derby County, an absolute idol as a kid, when everybody else had the keegans, dalglshes and Linekers we had Bobby, we might have been in the third division but it didn’t matter !
he never missed those one on ones with the keeper, he got his head in where it hurt and he had that great 80s moustache.
so heres to you Bobby Davison, Derby loves you more than you will know !

Last September I was playing football with my grandson, and hurt my knee. I didn’t bother the doctors because the knee gradually returned to near normal, but still quite painful at times. It was such a time I winced, and my wife “advised “ me to see the doctor, which I duly attended, knee examination, all OK, I asked for a PSA (having seen the information at Pride Park) check which he duly gave me the paperwork. The test came back 7.1, I’m over 70 so 6.5 is regarded as normal. I was dispatched to the Derby Royal, had the anal examination, ( for the first time) small lump found. In five weeks I’ve had a MRI scan,my prostrate biopsy done, and a QT scan, and I’m now on a hormone treatment plan. It appears they’ve caught the tumour early, and the prognosis is good, they say it will be eliminated. You do lose your dignity at times, but not going through that door and having the exam you could lose a lot more.
A shout out to the doctors and nurses at the Derby Royal, they have been absolutely terrific, informative, and very understanding, and caring.
