Warne mentioned post match on sky that Fleetwood are one of the top sides for attacking stats from set pieces, which partly drove the decision to go “big”, which I’m assuming is code for playing Bradley as part of a back 3. Ultimately it’s not cost us, wonder if it’ll be back to a 4 for the Burton game 🤔
At least until the 70th minute 👍

Good 3 points. We make it so hard for ourselves
good forwards would score loads against that back 3 of ours yet when we plat two of those three with two good full backs we look very solid
-
We look so weak
-
Good header but Bradley was nowhere near him

Were 1st in league for goals by subs. This comes off the back of near constant criticism of Warne's subs until the last few games. Weird.
We do have one of the biggest squads in the league - if other clubs would have lost waghorn and Washington they would have nothing left - our bench has sometimes looked better than some starting on some occasions as well

We isn’t that two penalties we should have had?

Thought we've played really well in possession against a team who were up for impressing their new manager. Looking so much better than earier in season, our better quality is now obvious.
Saying that, some dodgy moments down our left when they've got in much too easily.
Probably adjusting to the formation, but problem seems to be between Cashin and Forsyth. Feels like we are playing with a RB, 2 CBs but a LWB. Not sure how much of this is by design or players not been where they are supposed to.
Forsyth has orders to be higher up which leaves Cashin moving too much to the left and away from where he is best

Collins has been really good for the last few months. Those outspoken people who are quick to slate him never seem to give him the credit for the improved performances...
Hard to get anyone better in this league !

0-2 at half time is a great scoreline but it could easily have been 3-3 so I think we need more goals as those chances we allowed were on a plate

Well fancy that! We go 3 at the back and we look shaky. Who’d have thought it?
Everybody who has watched us this season - fans - opposition managers - pundits - our players - possibly not our coaching staff but who knows about that one ?
-
Some interesting refereeing decisions so far - the possible penalty that all the officials might have missed and the obvious yellow card that would have been a red in the premiership but nothing given.
-
-
Our players really don’t like playing with 3 centre half’s - they all get exposed !
-
Bradley doesn’t win many headers in defence does he
-
We could have changed all eleven starters and I would be expecting us to win !
let’s complain about changes after we have played shall weBy the way we only beat these by one goal in the league at home this season whilst being not very good in the two last season

Eranio moved to centre mid when we realised just how good he was.
Italian international right back with a bucket load of medals at AC Milan - yes he was far to good to be sitting at right back and how the Hell did Jim Smith sign him and on a free - great times

I would be fairly relaxed with allowing Bird to leave for funds to spend.
He’s a good player technically, but has absolutely struggled to consistently to provide an impact for us. I’ve really like Fornah from what I’ve seen and honestly don’t believe we would lose much, if anything, losing Bird to give him more game time.
What have you seen Fornah do? Personally I haven’t hardly seen anything to include him in the matchday 18 and I expect not to be with us in a years time

Dug this old thread out, just to say well done to Fozzy.
I remember seeing him flying down the left and whipping in some terrifying crosses and thinking he was some player.
Then I saw him being given a lesson at home against Wolves and thought he was finished, likewise with the three ligament injuries.
But then he reinvents himself as a CD when needs must, with the signings of Nelson, Bradley and Elder I thought his days would be number.
But no Fozzy has re reinvented himself as a LB again and is keeping people out - assisting and scoring.
What an absolute legend, what a club man
£150,000 is about our best value signings - anyway what about £3 million for Scott Malone anybody on transfer deadline day - just makes the point about using what we already have.

The list of left backs seen off by Fozzy is absolutely mental.
There has been loads hasn’t there, we probably brought in some of them due to him being out with his serious injuries but not one of the replacements have ever looked better
-
Even playing at the highest level can make the best players look not up to much if those around you in your side aren’t up to it
-
There’s a striker in league one banging them in - very experienced at a much higher level
has taken part in 16 league games and has 8 league goals this season
Doesn’t run around a lot but doesn’t need to it seems
would probably have got us promoted last season if we had taken him on to help McGoldrick
yep he’s still good enough and out of contract in a couple of weeks - Chris Martin
yet we don’t need him short term, what use would a goal every 2nd game be?

Might be a learning thing but I've noticed with Cashin that forwards are dragging him into wide positions then when he tries to get tight to them, they roll him. Cost us a goal at Plymouth last season and did it twice against Peterborough. Quite a few reasons why he won't be a premier league defender for me, as good as he is at this level
He gets rolled when he is forced wider in the three centre back role where he looks very clumsy - for me he is a two centre back man with a real left back near him

Decent signing to be fair
