Why are we so inconsistent ffs
NML is our only spark in the side generally whilst our defence is at best average and our generally played central midfield are ponderous- I hope that helps oh and Crewe seem to be better than a few of the sides in league one ( third division)

Such tragic news, our thoughts to all family members and his many friends in the football family

I think Crewe got away with that one.
We totally dominated the game.
We have a lot to answer for with the shocking defending which allowed them to score twice, and given how easily they caved under real pressure, we very clearly didn't set up the right way to break them down. That's all incredibly disappointing from our side.
But 2-2 overall does flatter Crewe, even accounting for how hard they worked.
I meant 2-0 down until the 88th minute - we got away with it in terms of shooting at the goal as Crewe’s efforts were very decent ours weren’t

Is 32 shots a new record for us?
With only one of them looking like it would be a goal !

Fortunately we got away with that one
-
Does every cross we do only go to the near post where we have no one
-
International rescue indeed - as the ball falls to one of our actual footballers
-
Crap goalkeeping there but we take it

And Sibbo gets all of the last 10mins...
To give him another appearance and say he’s done nothing

I hope not (to the first one). Collins always gives top effort. If he's not good enough to be in the team, that's someone else's fault!
In this type of game on this type of pitch he was a starter for me but I think I know more about football than those picking the starting eleven

Smith has been in some excellent positions to shoot in this game but has hardly managed to think about shooting and how he is playing in a game we would like to win and Sibley isn’t is beyond me

What the heck is the logic behind those subs?
He’s just utterly clueless but then again he hasn’t any experience of playing football

I don't really care about the FA Cup, but that doesn't mean this lot get a free pass today. Rubbish.
Bristol rovers at home in the next round would have been worth a lot just from the visitors travelling

On the bright side most of them are out of contract next summer and on this showing and several others I wouldn't offer any of them a new one. Pathetic
Yet I was earlier reading an article that Warne would be given money to spend = waste in January = we will lose the last of the footballers in January

Thanks!
I love the one about "subsequently starts the immediately following first team fixture"
So you play someone who you intend to play next match as a qualifying player and he gets injured/sent off, then what do you do?
Still, would think most of our squad would qualify under those rules somehow.
Crewe shoot to score - we don’t
-
Four excellent football goals - Northampton not very good at anything - well deserved three points - much easier when we aren’t booting the ball long to league one defenders

Actually going tonight to use my season ticket for the third time this season - I last saw us win live when McGoldrick scored the penalty in the 1-0 win against Burton Albion last season - not expecting much apart from a burger and a couple of pints 👍

Can’t remember who posted it but the most telling statistic from Saturday was that we had 23 crosses and won 8.5%, we won two crosses, I’ll just repeat that…..we won two crosses!
If we’re keeping to the same game plan…….might as well play Bradley at centre forward!
I thought that was the reason we signed Bradley to look dangerous from set pieces - anyway we rarely get the ball passed the first defender and if we did not many are there anyway

How many are there in comparison in the third division?

Karl Robinson?
It was between him and Warne originally if that impacts things

I've seen it's Warnock for QPR. Not sure why so many people are keen for Eustace, but I suppose I've not followed his management career. What's the attraction?
I imagine that he had turned Birmingham into a decent enough team (cough) and the fact that he played for us at a time when we played decent football if that has any bearing on his management skills
