DavesaRam got a reaction from Miggins in Derby v Cambridge Match Thread
The boos were for the ref who in the first half looked a bit like a ref, apart from 3 very poor decisions. But second half he had obviously had the regulation bollocking for looking almost impartial.

I’ve been a season ticket holder for 30+ years and never wanted to miss a match.
I’ve decided today that until Warne has gone I won’t be attending any more games. I left on 72 minutes today, something I’ve never done before.
It was awful, no direction and wasting my Saturday afternoon.
The football he plays and the way he treats the academy (something that is close to me and my family) I can’t give him any more support.
Call it mardy, but in all these years I’ve never felt like this about a manager.

And today's bunch of disreputables is:
No Sibs. Still. He had one game on the wing to prove himself, coming back from injury. That's fair...

There is one improvement, and we will see it continue every single week, because he has take us one match closer to the ned of his contract.

He's a football manager. Perhaps he should have applied for the DCFC Chaplains post?
I'm getting bored with the 'he's a lovely man' stuff. He wasn't so lovely when he put the blame for not doing well on some of the squad - just paranoid.
He's a nice bloke but I don't care I want a good football manager.

After watching Paul Warnes Cambridge interview regarding the Josh Vicars situation, I can't help but feel we have it wrong about what we value in a manager.
I understand football is about results and success, but sometimes, seeing a managers humility and connection as a humanbeing with the players, especially at times of trauma, beats the lot for me.
I've been critical of Warne, as have a lot of us, but I would love nothing more than for Warne to get us promoted. I know his "let's be mates" mentality can be a bit cringe, and his 352 does your head in, but you can tell he really cares about those around him, and I would much rather be in the trenches with a man like Warne than someone coming here for a quick cheque.
I'm crossing everything that things go right on the pitch, but regardless of that, I just wanna commend him for the person he is.
Salute to you Mr Warne.

I don’t think arguing against possession-based football is as valid as some people think.
We should have been promoted under Lampard, and would have been if he hadn’t had his head turned by Chelsea. That was bad enough, but even worse Lampard’s drawn out leaving party such that Cocu didn’t get to meet his new players until they were part way through their pre-season tour of America, by which time the transfer window was as good as over, with no-one signed and virtually no-one available. We then had Rooney’s arrival which have us all a boost until it was clear to everyone but him and Cocu that Rooney’s legs were gone. How many points that set us back isn't clear, but then Rooney started to undermine Cocu, again at a points cost. We then had the EFL came riding into town, so post-Lampard all our managers have faced impossible difficulties. I know that Rooney would gave got us to 17th place if it wasn’t dir the points deduction, which isn’t a promotion result, but he was still suffering the fall-out of a massively weakened squad courtesy of our Frank, followed by being hamstrung by Rick Parry and his henchmen.
Do ate we demanding Rosenior-ball instead of what is being dished up at the moment? I am not so sure. Maybe even the results aren’t so much the issue. What we want to see is the team competing with our opponents instead of being outplayed fir most of every match, ie a clear plan, playing to our strengths (which we do actually have) and some tactical nous.

The moaning isn’t just about this season. There is a consistency about how he has got us playing which was the same last season, and it was clear then as it is now that 3 at the back doesn’t work.
Performances and results only picked when he was forced by injuries to go 4 at the back, but he reverted back at the first opportunity, with results to match. Despite saying that he wants to play in the style we did last Tuesday, at the first opportunity to build on Tuesday’s delights, we revert to ##}%*^^g awful again. In addition when we’ve used 4 at the back to our advantage he still flips us to 3 or 5 at the back again, ending the match with a dose of squeaky bum time. Thankfully Carlisle weren’t up to punishing us for it.
Despite the fully justified outcry after last Saturday, most people, I would think, can cope with results at whatever cost, but would like to see at least some attempts to play the beautiful game, instead of empty rhetoric. Instead all that is dished up is the same bodge and bash it efforts.
Roll on Saturday with its potential for some football to break out.

Want to see Sibley in his actual position. Although I suspect he’ll be out wide again or dropped.

Warne's version of 'ready' is different to others'. What Warne says is correct... They aren't ready to be first team regulars. However, he completely gametimethe very important developmental requirement of giving them first team experience. Firstly, experience in our first team informs other clubs the player is ready for first team football lower down in the pyramid, opening doors for loans. Secondly, it's the only opportunity to see if they are actually ready for the first team or not. Thirdly, it motivates them yo push harder for a more regular role in the first team.
Springett wasn't even at upper L1 level when he joined us last season, but he was still given gametime in the PL with Norwich before his loan. You could argue it was those few first team games which led to us wanting him on loan.
Robinson was given minutes in the Championship, yet hasn't set foot on the pitch in L1.
Thompson played a significant amount of football in a Championship side which would have finished 17th in the Championship if not for points deducted. He was limited to just 190 minutes in League 1 last season.
