Totally agree. People have differing opinions and this shouting down of posters belittles what the forum us about in my view. I don’t want a cancel culture……we can disagree by all means but let’s do it with respect .

Not surprised by the start of this season really even though a few of the results have been pretty awful to watch.
Its not just the team and players we are rebuilding but the whole club with a new owner who has been honest enough to tell us supporters that the budget is limited.
Im sure the manager and coaching team along with players really want to do well, win many games and hopefully push into top six for the season. We do have quality for this league on the field. We know that.
Yesterday was not just the result that made me happy… more the response to going a goal down and being outplayed up until we equalized.
Bad teams go under at this point. Get overwhelmed, cant think to sort it out and understand whats going on and what to do about it. We were the total opposite and its was impressive how the manager and players handled the situation.
Next game cant come soon enough.

One of the Peterborough substitutes was actually singing "Is this a library?" with us whilst he was warming up!

Relegation battle back on then? It’s too early to put the promotion bunting up yet but let’s also not write today’s performance as a “one off” just yet.

I have escaped grandad duties for a few minutes. I had to make do with the laughs in this forum - thanks to all who contributed! plus updates from the dcfc text commentary.
So I went from the fear that comes from the defence having less cover at the back than a hospital gown to hearing that Cashin had scored. Then finding out we were 4 - 1, not just sitting level! Wow!
And to hear that Thompson excelled again is satisfying, and actually vindicating - like many on here I was sure that he should have been given more of a chance last season, knowing what he could contribute to the team. And he is contributing by the lorry-load already. Its just a shame that Waghorn got a hat-trick, because it sounds like he deserved his second MOM in a row!
And well done to the whole team for not collapsing when we went behind, because it could easily have happened.
So: corner turned. So onwards and upwards! What little of upwards is left!

Rooney came up against the best winger in the league and got done probably twice properly. He was one of the best players after Thommo, Waggy, Cash and Wash

Thommo Man of the match last week and just pipped to it by Waghorn this week due to the goals. Got to keep him in the team, he’s taken his chance and ran with it, which I know a few of us were hoping for in the summer.

Now there’s an idea we could try at Derby. You never know it might work. Maybe we could try it with Sibley, for example.

On the bench it is then, with 10 minutes here, 15 minutes there, and dropped from the squad if he has an impact on a game - its the Derby way!
Although I bet Sibley is worried now - that was his job!
