I wouldn't be so sure. All the Tokyo Olympics coverage was from Manchester for example.

Well it all seems very jolly to slag the BBC and the TV Licence until it affects something you like.

As you may have heard on Saturday on Radio Derby, Tony Bentley had his last game as Burton summariser - according to him on Twitter it was down to new BBC policy. Steve Jordan who presents the weekend shows also suddenly left his role over the weekend. Then today, @Owen87ITK tweeted his sorrow to his BBC local radio friends on today's news. Basically all the different counties stations are having to merge for most programmes. Radio Derby's Sport at Six/Sportscene will be going with the cuts, to be replaced with a joint Derby, Nottingham, Leicester and Lincolnshire programme. This is also happening with the non sport weekend shows, afternoon shows with the night shows being totally replaced with one national show. Rest in peace regional radio, what a loss this is. I really feel for everyone affected, especially the likes of Dominic Dietrich who's only just started with Radio Derby.

He’s a young lad who is well thought of at a premier league academy, playing his first season in men’s football, he has pace and directness which is an asset in any team and frightens defenders (he won a penalty the other night didn’t he?!). With more game time and further coaching he’s got every chance of doing well for the club during his loan. I feel like you often seem keen to slate the young players at the club and I don’t quite get why?

Oduroh is our player, on a two year contract. He should be playing for under 21s, but until we get some depth in the squad he will be sitting on the bench not getting game time.

I liked him, came across as a decent, honest guy.
Although, I couldn't help but get Ian Holloway vibes at times.

Sorry mate. Whilst I honestly don't know if Paul Warne will be a success or not.
He's won promotion from this league 3 times and currently has Rotherham sat 8th in the Championship.
To say it's a sideways step from Rosenior is madness.

It’s interesting that we’ve gone from saving the club and only having 5 senior players………
To fretting that we haven’t yet bought extra players in on the last day of the window………..all in the space of a month or so.
Shows what a fabulous job our new owner and staff have done in such a short time.
    Long may it continue!

Imagine it's tough with players like Oko-Flex because they're clearly waiting for Championship teams if they can get them. Probably why it's taking until the last minute.

I'd say we are waiting for our maim targets then working down a sensible back up list.
Think Oko Flex was a first choice but he's gone to Swansea so we move onto the next.
None of our transfer business has appeared desperate so far this summer.
