It's also balderdash and piffle. Not to mention tommyrot, tosh, bunkum, gibberish, tripe, claptrap, guff, poppycock, twaddle, and probably even flapdoodle,

Yeah, it's been a bit messy up there too I believe, for several years now.
At the peak of our crisis the lovely EFL decided that when we played some kids for a cup game due to Covid that since they had made an appearance they then would all count as senior pros would be deducted from the very small number of players we were allowed to have. Fortunately they relented but otherwise we'd have struggled to put a team out with an average age that'd get served in a pub.
It's still a bit of a scratch team in many ways and we have no cover in some places and our players are largely young or old (nowt in between) but all things considered we were very happy with the quality of recruitment on free transfers and with an EFL approved wage cap. We are still on embargo and will be for another year after this despite new owners so Warne has very little scope to tinker with the squad. If we sell a player then we're not allowed to reinvest the money as it stands. It was a grim time and absolute oblivion was a close run thing so thankful for what we have and our legend of a new owner who 100% saved the club.

Not gonna lie, sounds like a load of nonsense, using bloody decimal points will at least impress Rishi I guess.

A great away (home) day out for me. I was sat in the main stand and the longer the game went on it became apparent there were a lot of Derby fans amongst the home end - me included obviously!
Also great that every bar i went in to had a Derby fan to chat to - felt strange bumping into Rams fans in my hometown.

We've been through some tough times, when you put all the horrendous Covid stuff alongside the financial firestorm of the Morris era together we are lucky to have a club left to support.
But we have a fantastic club to support, we still have our wonderful, stressful, beautiful club to support.
We are averaging 26,000 in the third division. We are selling out most away games, we are Derby.
I love this football club, I love everything about DCFC. I love the history, I love people like @loweman2 doing all the stuff about shirts, @Inverurie Ram with his Rams flag thread,
Whatever happens this season, whether we make the play offs or even sneak into the autos, it doesn't really matter.
Being part of the DCFC family is what matters. We are Derby. Enjoy every game you go to and get behind the team.

Worst night possible for me, but I will be there.
Will we lose 5,500 fans from the Saturday capacity? If not, we are in profit.

I'm liking that draw very much. Let's get a sold-out Pride Park rocking!

Cracking win. Who needs the warmth of Oz when you can be at Pride Park watching that. They started well we weren’t great first half but gradually improved and dominated the game in the end. If we do end up in the playoffs really hope we get Barnsley, just need to go ahead against them and they have no fight or bottle. We on the other hand have bottle in spades along with real quality at this level. How can we get Jake Rooney into this team?! The boy is class!!!
I was hoping we at least made the 3rd round to avoid the embarrassment of a club like ours not making the round we usually start in, but 4th round is great. Really want Forest at home now…………………………………

David Clowes you feckin genius. Had my doubts about Warne, but how wrong I was. The most dominant performance of the season and against one of the better sides in the league too. Made them look like proper plodders and yet another clean sheet too.

Bit unfair to make us play two games at once. I bet this was Steve Gibson's idea

Absolutely crazy. If the rules are being interpreted correctly then they're wrong and the issue is that football is becoming as impossible for regular people watching to understand as rugby. Salah is offside as the ball is played to him. If it reaches him, he's clear on goal so the defender has no choice but to attempt to intercept it. Because he tries and fails, but touches the ball in the attempt, the officials deem Salah is now onside. Madness.

Apparently var didn't have the camera angle to check whether the corner taker was offside when the ball was played back to him so they had to go with the on field decision

Thought I'd take a glance at the Forest forum (as you do when they lose badly ?) and came across this hilarious comment:
I don't think Coops can be blamed for this though. He's trying to manage his threadbare resources.
