    This series of events
    This situation
    The clubs involved
Will never, ever be forgotten by the fans
If and when we get out of this situation I hope we go for them. Not just a few little words here and there. I'm talking going for the face. Swinging until we have nothing left. Getting dragged off them.
    Public, strong and relentless.
Never, ever let their fans, staff or players thunk they can come anywhere near our club and hold their heads high. "We would like to welcome the visiting players, staff and fans of blah blah blah" drop that, dont acknowledge their existence. Your fans are here? You won't get the steam off our piss.

The league table is going to be like the scoring on QI where someone wins (or in this case survives) on minus points!

    Fans should boycott Boro away.
Not only will the case be thrown out but we’ll get our own back then.

If Wycombe had a claim, then surely whoever got relegated the season before would have a claim against Sheffield Wednesday. And in that case, Wednesday would be down already, and Rotherham and us would’ve been relegated last season anyway, whether we were docked the points last season or not. We were only safe cos of their points deduction.
it’s a bit daft that every season these days at least one or two relegation spots are being reserved for teams with points deductions. What with parachute teams almost guaranteed to go up, relegation and promotion is almost sorted before a season starts.

I would assume that no bidder would want to buy the club with (nigh on unlikely) possible legal action looming for the figures currently being discussed.
Gibson is probably only doing it to delay the takeover past January which in turn makes us more likely to be relegated.

As long as Stephen Pearce remains in charge of our finances then I am firmly in favour of this .

Newcastle fans are delusional when evaluating Ashley’s tenure. I am genuinely perplexed when they say he never ‘invested’ in the club:
    He purchase the following:
    Joel Linton £40m
    Joe Wilock £25m
    Almiron £21m
    Calum Wilson £20m
    Saint Maximin £17m
    Florian Thauvin £15m
    Jamal Wilson £15m
    Wijnaldum £15m
    Mitrovic £15m
The way he ran Newcastle enabled them to attract their new owners as they are in a position of stability and attract wealthy investors thanks to the way he ran their club. Same will probably happen at West Ham.

Ashley in for me, no brainer.
On a side note, glad Kirchner is out the picture. Ridiculous how he declared his intentions early and made it public when he did. Clearly couldn’t match rival bidders and tried to convince us that it was the administrators not him. He couldn’t admit he wasn’t the preferred choice. From the start I knew it wouldn’t work out given how he behaved and the way Derby fans were swooning over him was embarrassing!

    Oh well, nearing a conclusion.

We remember how your fans supported us through our darkest hours.
We now have our club back and we are on our way back, but your fans were brilliant at Bloomfield Road singing all the Oyston out songs with us. We had a mini riot during that game, a night match and later that season, we started boycotting games home and away.
Word is, our fans are 100% behind you during this hopefully short term blip in your great clubs situation.
    Good luck from the Seasiders!

Give Davies the armband. Nothing against Lawrence but Curtis is unquestionably the best leader in that dressing room.
Put round pegs in round holes. don’t just pick your strongest XI, play your strongest team.
That strongest XI doesn’t include Morrison for me.

Before this season started, before any deductions were implemented, we were nailed on to finish dead last by both bookies and fans alike. So I genuinely find it bizzare that some of our fans consistently criticise Rooney for not doing better when if it wasn't for the points deduction we'd be a few places out of the relegation zone. The fact of the matter is our squad is appalling and even without the -21 points staying up would have been an achievement. We don't have a single CB under the age of 34 nor do we have a reliable and consistent goalkeeper. We have two senior strikers, one is permanently injured and the other is a 35 year old struggling to find match fitness after another injury. Our midfield has 1 player who can reliably pass in Bielik and he's recovering from his 2nd ACL in 2 years.
We do have some good players in the first team and the academy lads who have done well to make up for some of the squads deficiencies but there's only so much that can be expected of them. The squad has had some serious problem areas for a few seasons now and it seems very unfair to expect Rooney to fix them using teenagers from the academy while having no access to the transfer market. I understand being upset at the performance, especially when the first half was as dire as it was today. However I don't understand consistently having a pop at a manager for not achieving the impossible while having one arm tied behind his back in his first managerial role.

Daily mail is stirring up trouble, usual rag newspaper stuff to fill out its pages.
It's unfair to blame administrators who are qualified in this sort of thing and will not do anything unethical or illegal.
Potential owners will have been versed on these things.
Kirchners aware of the club's full financials and still makes the trips to watch games.
Hes aware that hmrc would put the club onto a repayment plan.
The only other thing hanging over the club is the legal claims by Wycombe wanderers and Middlesbrough, I believe a good lawyer for Derby can crush those claims plus appealing to the efl as if these cases were won it would set a dangerous precedent.

    Let’s take a deep breath!
If this story has more truth than clickbait in it then there is an easy solution that I’m sure isn’t mentioned (I don’t click on scummy press links).
Get to January and reluctantly sell our assets of Lawrence ( not much because of his contract), Bird,Knight etc
Clubs will be queuing up to pick the meat off the bones but we should be able to find maybe £15m? Derby won’t be sunk over £5m surely?!
We’re going down so the only priority now is taking to a League One pitch next season.

What they lose from us they gain from future clubs making sure they never get into our state again and pay their taxes.
My fear all along is the EFL are using us as ammo in their fight against the Prem and the HMRC are going to use us as an example to other clubs they won't be messed with.
I would love to be reassured everything will be ok, but I think we are a lot closer to liquidation than when the administrators came in.

    No chance.
we’ve only won 3 games so far and those of you thinking that the new owner will splash the cash in January are very optimistic in my opinion.
Once the bills have been settled I can see a period of prudence, a reset if you like.
