Some nice moments there. New players looking good, Morrison & Aluko standing out. Poor from Bird for the goal but was blatant handball as it bounced back off Roo's.

Overall a nice start to pre season.
Looking forward to 2nd half.

That was refreshing to watch Derby play with positivity and movement. Good first half. 

Maybe spend your time enjoying the game instead of being such a wum during our first pre-season. The first 10 minutes that I was able to watch we looked alright but suffered from similar issues that plagued us at the back end of last season. A lack of a goal threat going forward and struggling for penetration.

It's important to get the team ready for the vocal constructive criticism which will carry them through the season.

We'll be booing them from the first misplaced pass onwards.
Important to look out for the first couple of touches from any trialists playing. We can that judge them on this forever more.

Apparently we're going to be playing a "new style". Will be interesting to see what that new style is and whether any of us can actually tell the difference!

The idea of still being able to 'staff up' to 23 players of 'professional standing' is supposedly "to maintain the integrity of the competition."
How the hell is us potentially starting the season with one 20 year old centre back, who's never actually played a first team game, and no other centre backs on the books, maintaining the integrity of the competition?

He merely posted a potential scenario and asked whether Rooney should still be in a job if he lost the first 6 games and you jumped down his throat. He didn't say it would happen - he just asked what would happen if such a thing did come to pass. 
Maybe we will win the league, maybe Rooney sets an all time points record with this squad, but to completely disregard the other side of the coin does nobody any favours. You can't improve or remedy any problems if you just bury your head in the sand and completely ignore them in the first place. The club is facing a number of issues at the moment as we all know and whilst nobody knows how the team will perform when the season starts it doesn't mean people can't be worried about the situation our club currently finds itself in.

given how last season transpired and how we are meandering through the close season with no clearer indication to our ownership, financial future or efl embargo 
if we finished mid table with some more academy talents broken in I’d be delighted … I’m hopeful and perhaps optimistically thinking maybe Rooney can Create a lovely blend of old and young (assuming we can sign them)
but I’m sure as hell a little worried as to how this season may pan out
so much uncertainty surrounding us to not be worried imo
