GenBr reacted to Ambitious in Wayne Rooney
League Two* side - and we only lost by the one goal!
The way this season is shaping up, I'll be celebrating 1 goal defeats like they're wins.

GenBr reacted to Leeds Ram in Wayne Rooney
John Percy who wrote the story is a well regarded journalist that many trust. Tbh, for Derby county he's probably the best source we actually have. Do you think Rooney should be putting himself in a position where he could be injuring one of our few assets? Do you really think he can't recognise a 50/50 when it presents itself? Yeah, I'm sure Knight is to blame for his own injury and the manager shouldn't be level headed and realise what he should or shouldn't be doing on the training pitch...
I think we're unlikely to see eye to eye so I'll leave it here.

Come on guys, it’s obvious what’s going on here; Rooney rates knighty, so he’s crocked him so no-one will want to buy him this transfer window. Genius. Buchanan and Byrne are next, probably.

As soon as it emerged an unnamed Championship midfielder was injured by an unnamed Championship manager did anyone have any doubt whatsoever that it would involve us?
ducking sick of it

The club can't sell the players you want to keep if they're injured

Really looking forward to the takes on this one.
I’m guessing Jason should of been stronger in the challenge and, if anything, this only justifies calls to bring Wayne back into the starting XI?

GenBr reacted to Boycie in Wayne Rooney
Good evening.
There has been a couple of requests not to post the recent pictures that have emerged on social media of Rooney and ladies.
Please don’t post anymore or point warnings which could result in a ban will be made.
We are not protecting Rooney, we are protecting your forum.
Thank you.

I wouldn't want to be publicly reported as insane either.

Well, if it is Sam Rush, we’ll at least have full houses again. Even if just on paper.

GenBr reacted to Cam the Ram in The ultimate blame
Mel Morris - spent more than was allowed, sold the stadium to try and mask the problem, hired/trusted people who haven't really delivered results (recruitment team, multiple managers, Ince family etc.), made decisions that resulted in lengthy law suits (Rush, Keogh, EFL etc.), utilised an accounting method different to the other 91 Premier League and FL clubs which lead to more problems, dealt with some dodgy people (Gabay, Alonso, the Sheikh etc.), failed with multiple takeover and investment talks, failed to pay wages on multiple occasions, has made decisions that have put us under a transfer embargo on multiple occasions and has the club in the worst state it has been in for many years.
Derby fans - wanted some signings to improve the squad (WITHOUT BREACHING FFP RULES), want to pay less than 30 quid every week for an hour and a half of football and want Mel to hurry up and move on so we can start fresh.
Sorry lads, this one is on us .... our bad

I have really read it all now. Just a second I need to read it again because I can't believe anybody holds this type of view

GenBr reacted to Gringo in The ultimate blame
The ultimate blame lies with the supporters, demanding new players twice a year, demanding seat prices to be lower and demanding promotion to the premiership whatever the cost. So the richest man in Derby has run out of cash and the will to carry on subsidizing a club where a cohort of supporters want him to “walk away now” and to “eff off” but are evidently not prepared to put their own hands in their pockets in any meaningful way. The facts are (for the benefit of corporal dictionary). The wages are being paid as evidenced by no new charges from the EFL, new potential signings do want to join the Rams as evidenced by the quantity of triallists, previous foot balling debts paid evidenced by the removal of that charge by the EFL, but no this is not enough, the fans want see Mel bankrupted all his money gone and living in a cardboard box under a railway arch, the loss of hundreds of millions of his personal money is not enough, he should be made to eff off so the baying rabble shout. My last word is be careful what you wish for you might get it, he or MSD would still own the stadium, wages would not be paid and more than a hundred employees of DCFC would lose their jobs and the club would be liquidated.
Would that give you satisfaction?
cutting ones nose off would appear to be the plastic surgery of choice for most on here.

GenBr got a reaction from Hector was the best in The EFL at it again? Blocking signings?
Interested to see what their reasons for blocking it are now then. Will they let us buy players even if we resubmit our accounts?
Would we? If we'd gone down to League 1 we'd have even less money and we would still be under embargo anyway. We'd just be doing the same thing, but one division lower.
Having said that though I do agree we may as well get it over with sooner rather than later. If we start the season without any centre backs we're just wasting everybody's time. Hopefully if we do go down the EFL will finally be satisfied enough to leave us alone.
