BucksRam got a reaction from BramcoteRam84 in Wayne Rooney
Spoke really well but this was the key takeaway for me. He wants the opportunity to build his own squad and bring success to this club over the next 2-3 years. Him and CK seemed to get on and importantly, share the same vision, so if it really is CK, maybe this could be just what we need.

I liked CK when he was on the table last time (not literally for those of you looking for a double entendre!) - did say at the time that I couldn't quite put my finger on why, and still can't but I liked the fact he was different. WR certainly liked him and said they both had the same vision for the club. If it means that the manager and owner are in complete Slync too, then that's no bad thing.

That’s my thinking. If it’s CK and WR stays I’d love to see who he gets in. I know we need a raft of new players but that could be a positive as it’s a clean slate. Maybe see Jags come back, a few loans through his contacts, retain some of the current squad and some permanents. As long as he can do it sooner rather than later to give him the full preseason to get them to gel. At least for the first time for a long time we won’t have any deadwood.

Two years ago (I think) on the 4th April it was Derby vs Forest and the Aintree Grand National. Everything got cancelled. The 4th April is my birthday. I was absolutely gutted. Yesterday the Mrs had surprised me with my very own pub. I and she work for the NHS. We were exhausted. I had a funny feeling that the PB would be announced on or around my birthday. Finally some hope and future COYR

Yeah we all would mate.
And I think the way the fans, Rooney and the players have performed this season has done just that.

Funnily enough I've noticed that over the past few days - increasingly short in his responses (more than usual) - suspect he's been issuing more bans than usual with some pushing him for answers, something he doesn't like. Suspect he's out the loop right now as Q are keeping things a little more close to their chests. Diddums.

So are you saying they haven’t spoken to EFL yet and you know this because you get your info from the EFL?

I watched my two oldest girls do their first ever dance shows with their dance school. The beaming grins from them made my day

BucksRam got a reaction from Rammy03 in Unbelievable Jeff
Not a fan of the panel, albeit they have their moments, but I do like a bit of Jeff. He does hold it all together IMO - I suspect Sky were more than a little worried about losing him. Wouldn't be surprised too if there's a hefty pay rise on the table for him as I'm pretty sure a lot of people watch it just because he's presenting.

Anyone else think that the leaky EFL walls will tell us via Nixon etc as soon as we (Q) have introduced our PB?

BucksRam reacted to Elwood P Dowd in The Administration Thread
I hear they are making a film about a man from Derby who is put cryonic state (frozen) and a Doctor wakes him up in the future, 2072, the first question the man has is "has the PB for Derby County been anounced yet" the Doctor pats his hand reassuringly and says its due to be announced next week.

Although you did speak for yourself.....I suspect the majority on here, myself included agree with everything you've said. This is a great forum....yeah there's some very strong views at times, some perhaps crossing lines, but this is policed really well by the mods and of course @David. It's been a lifeline and escape for me these last couple of years in particular. I've nosed around in many other forums and, not being biased at all, very few compare. Some are utter tripe.
