Stive Pesley got a reaction from Miggins in Derby MPs
Looks like Pauline Latham MP has actually written a letter to the Culture Secretary and requested a meeting with the EFL

I have undertaken rigorous research recently into Ghosts through the medium of TV and am of the opinion that you are being haunted by a trouserless ex politician!

Stive Pesley reacted to Tombo in Derby County Administration (with the slight possibility of Liquidation still there)
No way things are so bad people are defending Mike Ashley and wishing he'd buy us.
We've got to get out of this mess soon, it's starting to twist our collective melons.

Indeed - I'm sure he could pay off the MSD loan tomorrow if he needed to - he lobbed £12m into his own charity on a whim, his net worth is in the region of half a billion quid.
That's possibly his end game - see a new owner take over, he pays off MSD and start charging the new owner rent.
Leaving him and his heirs a steady income for the rest of time - without the need to bankroll the club itself?

It’s also a nice way to blame MSD for their interest rates, when failing to agree a suitable rental agreement with the administrator.

I dunno about that, but I'm starting to suspect that Mrs Wolfie is a grade A prankster and I salute her ?

good job we're not an isolated island nation who chose to decouple from a large trading bloc of countries then....oh

Quite right.
My dad (double jabbed & long time lurker on here) currently has Covid, which we think he must have picked up at Pride Park last Wednesday. He's had flu symptoms since Saturday night but is now getting better. He's more vulnerable than I am, so for me it has just underlined it that I'm not prepared to live in fear any more. Imperfect logic maybe but there you are.
I very rarely wear a mask nowadays but do occasionally take a test - most recently last night, having had a non-typical headache (for me) all day, and wanting to go to the gym.
Get well soon, Pop

I'm still wearing a mask on public transport and in shops, but you're right - since it stopped being policed people have largely given up, and I think there is almost an embarrassment factor now when you're one of the few wearing one.
If anyone gives you grief for it though, just lower your mask and tell them you are wearing it for their benefit as your wife has covid, you don't feel well and you're on you're way to get tested ?

I'm up to date on Money Heist and I've just finished Squid Game.
I don't understand how people can watch dubbed versions of movies/tv shows, they sound completely awful and ruins the experience.
On Squid Game, thought it was fantastic. 9/10

I have been to two indoor gigs in the last couple of weeks. Relatively small venues, 200-300 attendees at both. Nobody wearing masks including myself. I recognise it a risk, but taken the view that I am vaccinated and that life is for the living. Of all things in these COVID times live music is what I have missed most.

You seem a little prickly still. just quoted some salient facts.
It is obvious that we have cocked this up. A public inquiry next year would be good. Hold people to account, learn from mistakes,
In the meantime, compulsory mask wearing on public transport would be a start.

ooooh Bit defensive aren't we?
Perhaps it's an indication we could have done something different. Perhaps shown some of the caution many on here wanted.
Perhaps stuck with masks on public transport. Maybe not sent kids back to school for 1 day in January, relaxed school rules 1 week before the 6 week hols. offered teens vaccines 3 weeks before school returned not 3 weeks after. Just little things.
There is plenty of scope between lockdown and the poo show we have now.
