Stive Pesley got a reaction from DavesaRam in The Administration Thread
Hello! Have you met Derby City Council ? ?

I'm thinking that MM actually wants the Saturday deadline to pass so that CK has to start funding the club. Once he's sinking money into it day on day, then MMs hand becomes stronger in relation to the ground ?

The journalism doesn't get any better does it?
Starts with the words "Accrington Stanley chairman Andy Holt has stuck up for former Derby County chief Mel Morris"
Then quotes Andy Holt directly as saying "I’m not defending him one bit"
Literally the opposite of what the strapline says

Forget the journalism .
The serious of our situation can’t be over exaggerated

Terrible journalism. In fact it's an insult to proper journo's to call that journalism. If he used the phrase "second-tier side" one more time, I swear....

Holt is right though Parachute payments are a disgrace.

My nagging doubt is around his closeness to Rooney and this Garry Cook fella. If any part of that relationship goes south then I'm not sure what Kirchner does. It feels a lot like they have a common understanding (CK is the money and ambition, WR wants to prove himself as a manager and GC is the experienced one who gets to run the day-to-day stuff)

So to Ashley we are sloppy seconds. Not relevant enough to put his money where his mouth is in the first place.

The inevitable is that Wayne will leave sometime, whether he jumps or is pushed. In the meantime it is fair to say that he hasn't yet had the opportunity to work in a constructive or healthy relationship with the Club's custodians - Mel or Q - but kept us up in season 1 and failed gloriously in season 2. Having created in both seasons a very positive dressing room spirit that got us further than we might otherwise have done, he has more than earned the chance at season 3, a positive owner/manager relationship and, hopefully, some financial support. If he does well then he may get another offer he can't turn down; if he doesn't do well then no doubt the terraces will let him know and/or the owner will act. 'Twas ever thus.

Well it is now - I just finally tested positive. I'm pretty much the last person I know what hasn't had it yet

Stive Pesley got a reaction from jono in Building works - advice needed
So if we assume that the £900 quote became the £1000 materials (fair enough it may have cost them slightly more in materials than they envisaged, but where do the other £300 charges come into it?) This implies that the labour to knock off the old render was as much/took as long as the labour to put the new render on - is that about right?
What have they said about guarantees? In my experience, rendering can be a nightmare if not done well and start to crack, fall off etc.
How about you say you'll pay the extra labour if they sign a 10 year guarantee on the work. Their reaction to such a suggestion should tell you a lot

I know some folk are complaining about the government but its not all bad. For example, my car used to only hold £65 of petrol, now it holds £90 worth, thats way more than a couple of years ago.

We should probably club together 5p each and buy a patreon account from him, then just share his posts relevant to DCFC in a private forum here.
I realise that some may question the ethics of that, but I refuse to discuss ethics when it comes to The Sun newspaper

What's the betting that the EFL reject our sufficiency plans, saying - "how can you project your funds to operate a football club with only 5 players on the books"? Thereby killing us in the devil's embrace
