I thought it was just brilliant. Great acting and a fantastic script. 
Classic Guy Ritchie.
Hew Grant was absolutely outstanding as was Colin Farrell and Matthew Mcconaughey.
If you liked Lock, Stock and Snatch then you'll love this.

Apparently this is the second highest watched Netflix film week of release.
Just a vehicle for Wahlberg to go back to his beloved Boston and earn a load of money.
Lame script, hardly any humor worth the name and a script more predictable than Roos coming out and punching a ball he could have caught. 

An oldy but started watching Still Game on Netflix over lockdown, just to watch something less intense and it’s perfect. Just a daft and funny sitcom with a wee bit of heart. Lovely stuff and easy going. Final series is only on iplayer though at the moment.

Just finished Normal people tonight. 
Superb.  The ending makes you want more, and hopefully the author has a 2nd book up her sleeve. 

As previously mentioned, Normal People is a good watch. Also recommend Derek if you've not seen it all.

I dont have redtv, instead watched England v Switzerland from Euro 96 on ITV4.    
That was a decent England side. 

going to look out for the first Croatia match . Remember watching Asanovic play and thinking have we actually just signed this bloke for 500,000. Certainly got a steal there.  Wenger tried to sign him for Arsenal after his first match to find he'd joined us .  Got his own back with Petit who was on the road to sign for us the following summer then turned round when Arsenal came in last second.

Can also recommend 89 on Sky Sports about Arsenal’s championship win in, you guessed it, 1989. Although Paul Merson shows his dhead side by claiming they thought they’d blown when losing to a Derby side who were in the bottom 3 at the time. We were 5th ?

Biggest ever show for BBC3.
Great performances from the two main protagonists, both of whom are set for stardom.
It is slow but it’s also a beautiful work on the pain of love.

Anyone watching Normal people on BBC?
Very very slow and each episode is drawn out, but its compelling viewing. 
Superb acting by the 2 main characters. 

People moaning about when the football will be back.

We did the AGM case. That Triple Hazy is something else.

On thread, after a rocky week while my GF was in hospital, I'm coping OK. Trying to pretend that the whole thing is just a bit of a crap 'staycation' really, with beers in the sun, a bit of exercise and much reading and box-set bingeing keeping me sane. 
Hope everyone else is doing as well as can be expected ?

I'm late to the party but I've just binge watched Fleabag and it's a masterpiece!
Also Frozen 2 was really good.

Binge watching Modern Family on sky. Easily the best comedy on tv in years. 
 

So many memories on this Doc. Mexico 86, Italia 90. Pre internet days, seeing foreign football on tv was a trip into the unknown. 
I still think he was the greatest. 

Much the same here on the sleep front. And I know I'm being short-tempered with the family as a result. Not really sure what the solution is though. Doesn't feel like the situation is going to get better any time soon ?
 

Looking forward to that myself. Absolutely loathed him at the time but he was a genius and great to watch in his pomp. 

Maradonna documentary on C4 9pm Saturday night. Love him or loathe him, its bound to be a good watch. 
Personally, he's the best for me, albeit extremely flawed ?.
