Day 7, The Devil's Staircase out of Glencoe to Kinlochleven . Low cloud at 6.30am.
At the top of the Devil's Staircase.
And the track keeps going.

Better to get thrashed in the quarter-finals than to go out earlier.
Derbyshire were the only Division 2 Championship side to get through the T20 groups, so before some of you condemn them as useless, perhaps a little dose of realism is called for.

Every thread is a beer thread if you are thirsty enough.

They would be alright in a paper league. Rangers have a record for folding.

They will have the Aribo money and potentially Morelos to replace.

There is an old Arabic proverb that goes something along the lines of "between the Tigres and the Euphraties Allah created a paradise, but man was not deserving of it, so he added flys"
The same thing is true with scotland, but with midges.
Seriously, had do some work in Devilla forest last summer, i felt like i was feeding every insect within 4 miles.
I can't tel you if it's a "west coast thing" more than east, but the climate is more soggy and perhaps that encourages the little devils.

I'm an East coaster (midge free), but summer holidays to the West Highlands in July as a kid involved lots of failed attempts to swat them away.
July and Aug seem the worst months.

How often do you call Danny boy?

CWC1983 reacted to PistoldPete in Kelle Roos yeah?, he’s gone to Aberdeen init.
Then why would we let Roos go to low end of the SPL which is no more than League One? Roos is better than Hamer IMO.
Bizarre letting two keepers go.

They made that last 5 overs look ridiculously easy.
Did feel a bit for the young spinner going for 60 off his 4 overs and giving away the last 3 runs on the boundary via a miss field.

Cans of Neck oil, by beavertown.
Lovely IPA that some pubs have on tap.

Good effort ?
You couldn't get Carling or Fosters for that in my local pubs In Leics.

£3.80 a pint at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium!
Takes the edge off the £1000 season ticket, I guess.

Last time I was in Dublin, without thinking I ordered two pints of Guiness, and take one for yourself good barman, being used to my local where they'd take 30p for a cordial shot.
He poured the two pints, but charged me for three, weĺl over €20 euros for the round.
Needless to say we skipped lunch the following day.

€7.90.
To be fair, I'm waiting on my mates to fly in from Aberdeen and London so I thought I'd do the tourist thing and go to Temple bar.
Next pub along the street, €6.60, so edging towards UK prices.
