    "Absolutely bonkers" ?
Bristol City CEO Richard Gould has said the club may take a points deduction instead of selling their best players.
It's after they announced losses of £38m.
@JustinPeach27 says he doesn't like that attitude at all?

Don't know what your'e trying to put across there ? All I've stated is what's on the the Bristol City Forum. They also talk about lots of clubs that will be submitting their accounts very shortly. With lost revenue (due to Covid) with advertising, gate reciepts, sponsorships and very little transfers out. They, being Bristol and Stoke want the EFL to alter the P&S and FFP rules and guidlines. If they don't, they forsee lots of clubs failing and having points deductions. If the EFL adjust any of their rules to help out clubs who could fall short, then what about Reading who have had 6 points deducted already.

For MPs, etc., ask them to put a simple question to the EFL, like
"I would be grateful if the EFL would outline what steps it can take to ensure that Derby County has a route out of Administration if a buyer can be found, and confirm that the EFL is not inadvertently hindering the route out of Administration."
That is a nice simple uncontroversial statement that an MP can easily get behind without knowing any of the detail.
People who can identify more specific questions can send those.
It is usually best of people all send independently worded questions. It carries far more weight than loads of people sending the same thing.
But, there is power in a simple straightforward question - and asking an MP to ask it on your behalf.

Isn't it quite simple, the administrators show how they intend to fund the club over the course of the season then the embargo gets lifted?
Whats particularly complex about that for a team of administrators- unless they don't have a plan?

These spiteful individuals clearly don't see the bigger picture. The EFL, Gibson, Morris etc. If they let the club die on its knees you're taking away the heart of a city, the huge source of income for local businesses. For what? Because of their rich boy backroom politics.
Awful people the lot of them. Shame on you for creating this clusterbomb of a mess. It's not one party to blame, all of them deserve criticism. It takes a lot for me to become upset however I genuinely have had it with these muppets. The manager must be furious, losing Jags is horrible. And now a potential fire sale on the horizon.
    Sigh.

No.  If the business is considered a going concern you would be expected under administration to cut cloth accordingly whilst ensuring the business functions at a serviceable level to start paying debt .  If the club got 10 million in they would be expected to utilise a chunk of that to service debt after the minimum required to fund the club was taken.  At some point a business gets to a place with 600k in the bank, no more loans to be had, a squad worth 25% of its actual value to buyers,  thousands of pounds in interest running weekly, a future lose of revenue now almost inevitable and 4 million quid to find in a month for football creditors. Without a buyer in place now we were never going to be allowed to bring in new players.  The fact we can't even resign a bloke of 39 on 4 k a week indicates we are absolutely shagged

I don't get it. What money are we using to pay the players if it is not the income from people paying to watch?

All the money generated would go to the creditors and couldn't be used to keep us going.

I wonder if the administrators have considered selling next years season tickets early to generate funds just to keep us going. I'd renew our three no problem.

That's not true. Let's be honest, if anyone is going to buy the club it's because it's a member of the football league. Players come and players go, so if a few are sold to bring the debt level down, then so be it. Losing our spot in the league would be much, much worse

We are in administration because we can’t fund the club ! We can’t have a new owner because you won’t let us have a new owner to fund the club - this is beyond nuts

There is part of me who just wants the players to sit on the pitch and let sheff stick the ball in the net . Its the only way to highlight to national news how bad this has got with middlesboro and wycombe sticking the knife in when its the efls fault . And how can you have a boro candidate on the efl panel judging on this and its allowed to happen the worlds gone mad .

We’ve already played stoke twice this season and they still have to play all the teams around us. So perhaps that’s the silver lining here? Hope he does well at stoke (only because it helps Derby!!)

This i'd like advice on, If we're liquidated on Monday, All our assets are sold to pay off creditors, Do we fold as a football club and hope to reform, Are the results expunged from the division, Or do we play with a team full of under 18s for the remainder of the season, Start next season on minus 15 points and hope to have a new owner in.

15 points is the penalty for exiting administration and paying the unsecured creditors less than 25% upfront or 35% in installments.
Not paying the football creditors 100% is expulsion from the EFL

Liquidation is not the  end of the club, it would be the end of the Corporate entity that owns the club. .

Anyway the statement tonight from the admin team does not suggest to me we are close to liquidation of the Company at least not an involuntary liquidation. We have three bidders and a clear legal opinion on a way forward.

We are at loggerheads with the EFL which we have been in truth for two years now. They are clearly deceitful , incompetent and vindictive.
But we will survive. We are Derby.
