Sheffield wednesday ended up with 6 points when they actually cheated, lying about the financial year they sold the stadium in. We on the other hand have used an accounting process that isn’t illegal, that the EFL has decided after approving our use of it that they no longer like. 
 
Considering the disruption they’ve already caused to the club through embargo’s etc, the fact that if they had said 4 years ago we can’t use that method anymore - we would have had to act accordingly, sell players etc cut costs and the sheffield Wednesday context, Derby should not be accepting anything more than those 6 points for me, as a starting point.

All agreed but at a certain point we have to detach those that fail the club, from the club itself. We all love Derby county, the people running it are letting a club with long history and hopefully a long future without them, down. Confirmation that we haven't submitted our audited accounts - despite having an extended deadline. 
As much as it pains me to say it, we should be hit with the harshest punishment possible. Mel Morris and Stephen Pearce have got such an easy ride from the fans considering what they have done over the past 12 months, including trying to shift the club on to very obvious charlatans. 
We have a group of honest pros & kids shouldering issues today that were due to a Derby County team and Mel Morris of yesteryear. It's absolutely shameful to see. I absolutely cannot stand Derby County in its current form. It's a disgusting stain on English football.

If anything Rooney has shown over his career, it is fighting spirit. Although I wouldn't blame him walking away, I think he wouldn't want to show any form of weakness. Maybe just Maybe, Rooney has his integrity and want's to keep that intact and will not let the fans down
