I think in all honesty, a lot of us were blinded by our desperation for Derby County to be saved - I think if we weren’t in admin and this had just been a run of the mill takeover at a time when Mel was selling up, a lot more people would have made noises opposing it. I certainly hold my hands up and say although there were clear red flags my line of thinking was well if  Q, EFL, garry cook etc etc got him to the point of contracts exchanged, that maybe he was legit but in hindsight none of this is surprising in fact what’s coming out is probably what the rational expected.

Nice to see the first overreactions happened before the first league game. 

Complete and utter s*** for 90 minutes as soon as we play against the sort of football we'll see utilised against us on a regular basis this season.
Hard to see what we were even trying to do tbh, other than practice our reactions to losing the ball in as many stupid ways as possible!
Oh well it's a good job pre season results mean nowt!

Tbh if bird comes on I think the game changes. Def missing a bird or smith in the holding role. But this is more about minutes for other players.

No been married 30 years and every year she hates me going to football and the TV and radio coverage. Every season and game day she tries to find ways of stopping me going. It is not like she wants to spend the time together if I am not going she goes out to see her friends. 

Probably cause of only around 5k attendance and 3 hours before kick off, so it will be quiet then bud. I reckon if you get to the merlin on pride park for around 2 30 it should be lively enough given the context of the game. ?
