We honestly are not obsessed with Derby and have said on many occasions (a) We hope to have no need to discuss the club again and (b) not keen with behaviour of owners results in punishment for fans via points deductions.
 
The reason why the club has appeared on the show is a combination of EFL Charges, Keough sacking claim, refusal to publish accounts, amortisation, failure to pay wages on time, FFP, collapsed sale deals and administration.
 
If none of those had arisen then the club would not have had a mention. 
As for laughing at our own jokes, I laugh at Kevin’s because I think he’s very funny. 

I understand their grievances. I didn't last year because well it wasn't like we were anywhere near the team that broke P&S. Nevertheless, they do have a good case considering their losses. It would absolutely put us in the mire more so than we already are, so I would again go back to the point - liquidate the club and start again. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, is more painful than all this off-the-field baalocks. 
Midlands Counties Division 3... whatever the level. I just want to focus on the football again. 

I must admit his player management appears outstanding.. I could imagine an Allardyce or Redknapp wingding about the uneven playing field and the differences in quality etc. But not Wayne. Every game he says he expects to win and bigs up the players attitudes and performances. Regardless of what he thinks privately this is exceptional management ans deserves our support

He has zero to do with the issues we now find ourselves in, but he has acted with utter class.
He's had no money and is playing a number of players he knows aren't good enough (at least at the moment) without a word of complaint publicly.
He's just got on with his job and tried to get this team playing decent football with one hand tied behind his back, wearing lead boots and being made to wear a balaclava the wrong way around.
And then he hears about going into administration on TV like the rest of us and rather than whining or walking out he gets on with his job.
I really like what I'm seeing, especially when you consider he's in his first year of management and the second youngest boss in the entire football league.
He should have control of this team if/when he has money to spend, or at the very least until the end of this season.
If he does walk or get pushed, I for one will be bitterly disappointed.

I listened to it for the first time ever today. Kevin Hunter-Day seems a decent bloke. As for KM, he doesn’t have any axe to grind with Derby I don’t think, but he is extremely anti-Mel Morris and with good reason, and uncovered that we were issued with a winding up petition from HMRC pre-COVID. Furthermore he listened to Mel’s interview yesterday and it didn’t change his opinion in the slightest, when Jim Wheeler pressed him on Mel’s defence of the amortisation policy he shot it down quickly, amortisation isn’t meant to be a reflection of value. It isn’t perfect but it’s consistent. Using transfermarkt to value players is as reliable as using Wikipedia as a source!! 
 
I think he spoke a lot of sense and is merely exposing Mel for the charlatan he is.

Some twit in an Audi pulled across me on my bicycle this week then slammed his brakes on to park and called me a Bamford
So in the arguement that followed when I'd kicked his wing mirror off,I took his keys out his ignition and dropped them down a drain and cycled off. Justified ?

Seeing as their complaint, such as there is one, is with the process of the EFL's disciplinary proceedings, that leaves them trying to sue the EFL, which i doubt will succeed.
If they try to sue DCFC, well they're in administration.
 

Morris has thrown Derby County to the sharks. 

Apologies if this has already been posted. It's impossible to keep up with all the threads at the moment but this is essential listening.

One thing that stands out. The HRMC filed a winding up order against the club in January 2020, which was at the start of the pandemic in the UK but a couple of months before lockdown, so the idea that COVID is the reason we're in administration is clearly nonsensical, despite Mel's claims to the contrary.

Which makes the timing of the administration annoucement all the more galling. They've been pushing the seaons ticket sales and membership deals, got many thousands of people to stump up their cash and then announce the future of the club is in doubt. If it wasn't good old 'Uncle Mel' in charge, people might see it as the cynical act of an owner that doesn't give a stuff about the ordinary fans losing out as long as he can recoup some of his millions....

As someone who tried to pull together a crowd-funding campaign to buy Jason Shackell a toaster as a wedding gift from the fans when we were courting him for a second time, I know what a huge undertaking this is.
We'll never know if he got that toaster, but luckily it wasn't a barrier to him joining. Obviously he uses the grill. 
Fans didn't come through then. Hope we do now.

Losing our ‘young talent’ is the least of our worries, there’s a real danger that there won’t be a club for them to play for.
