She was awful.
At one point in the 1st half Fozzy picked the ball up in his own half, drove forward, got to the edge of their box, had his pass intercepted and they tried to break, Fozzy then "took one for the team" and brought down their player (Drysdale)
She then spent the next minute going on about what a fabulous run it was from Drysdale and how he had to foul Forsyth ?
Absolutely clueless.

I was there and saw that. I`ve often thought that the ones we use are far too young and dont really understand whats going on.
For me, we should use the DCFC U14/15/!6s as part of their education in football. It would give them an insight into the pace of the game, the atmosphere to expect and the intensity of the game and crowd.
Again, give them instructions such as "If we are losing, get the ball as quickly as possible", "If we are winning, snails pace"

I see that they have former Rams loanee, the instantly forgettable, James Wilson in their ranks..

This will be a very tough game.
Oxford are always around the Play Off places and have a manager who knows this division well in Karl Robinson.
They have made a couple of good additions in Murphy and Wildschut.
I`m going for 2-1 Derby in hope more so than expectation as I expect us to improve as the season progresses due to the massive upheaval of the squad.

Am just really confused with all the allegations of RamsTrust board being friends with DCB board members and the related insinuations of kickbacks if DCB is a not for profit organisation, what pecuniary gain would RamsTrust yield likewise DCB for RamsTrust suggesting to use one of their services.
RT themselves possibly nothing, but if their board members are member of the Co-Operative Union then they would receive Dividends personally

Didn`t impress last night, but then again, no-one did. A very lethargic performance all round.
He does look a little lightweight for L1 but worth another look i`d have thought as wingers are generally inconsistent

oh come on. i cant believe you are even comparing that
the names that have just won the champions league are elite level footballers that have won several champions leagues before not james chester and david mcgoldrick.
football is a young mans game, teams achieve with graft and running nowadays. it has moved on from the experienced types that have no legs.
So are you now contradicting yourself and saying that elite level players can still run and graft when they are "Old", but non-elite level players cant?

glad you chaps have faith in the efl transfer restrictions that would stop us getting into financial damage, worked well last time didnt it.
i just feel its the completely wrong direction to go down, journeymen players on big wages. almost a league one tribute act of our championship dealings under mel. we have to move on from these type of players. old teams just dont do very well anymore, football is a young mans game.
Someone didn`t give Real Madrid that Memo then.
They`ve just won the Champions League and La Liga with Modric(37), Benzema (34), Marcelo (34), Kroos (32), Bale (32), Isco (32), Casemiro (30), Courtois (30), Alaba (29), Nacho (31), Carvjal (29).
But hey, footballs a young mans game !!!!
The secret is balance of experience and youth, we need more experience to go with our youth.
I`d welcome Chester and Hourihane.

Once the takeover is done, we have to look forwards and there are reasons to be positive.
The following clubs have all been in Lg1 in the last 10-15 years and are now in the Premier League
Florist
Brentford
Bournemouth
Leeds
Leicester
Southampton
Wolves
Norwich (I know, they`ve just gone back down)
With the right mindset amongst Staff, Players and Fans, we can get up there again very soon.

Agree so very much. When we hear from Gary Cook, I think that's when it is all but the ink dry on the deal. Right now he is the Cheif Exec in waiting, his first words will be: Oi Pearson, out my chair.
Who is Pearson?

ABC??? Didnt we have some sort of dealing with them too??

I see on twitter that chap @ANDY Derby5hire is claiming that "someone" will make a statement later today.
He seems pretty sure. Mind you, he`s seemed pretty sure about a lot of things in the past too?

Pretty sure you're not to far wrong, HMRC are known for scapping debt...not millions but billions especially since Covid, The concern will be, If they let DCFC pay 25% and I believe that has allready been agreed upon from posters on here posting that, When is the next football club going to write their HMRC debt off and go into Admin.
All EFL clubs are watching us with bated breath
As a "preferred" creditor they can accept anything from 26-100%
My guess is the administrators have offered them 26% and said "well you`ve got more than the unsecured creditors at 25% therefore you are being "preferred"
I`m pretty sure that legally that would stand up too.

I suppose that the sale of Jozwiak has made things a little easier as regards getting an acceptable price.
Rumours are that the the money from his sale was the same amount that was required to pay off Lech Poznan so therefore that is another 100% creditor off the books.
So say, if the 28 million figure was correct to satisfy all debts but Ashley or whoever only bid 26 million, the 2 million or whatever we received for Joz pays off the debt to Poznan (Football Debt) so the overall figure now drops to 26 million making Ashleys bid viable?
I guess we will find out for sure in the next days and weeks, but to me it makes no sense whatsoever to buy the club and burden it with a 15 point deduction next season for the sake of a few million quid when you are a rich as Ashley.

Or that nobody has and that they've all moved on and away.
i was told last week by someone that I trust that Ashley had put in his bid and that the administrators wrote to the other 2 parties advising them of this, and that they had until Weds this week to submit counter offers.

Only said that cause i have never seen him at PPS lol.
I don`t think he goes to games now. Think he lives on Isle of Man?
He was a regular in the 70`s/80`s before his businesses took off and he then tried to buy Man Utd in the late 80`s

Local Lad made good in the excesses of the eighties (Loscoe Lad).
Very nearly got control of Man Utd in 1988, ended up owning Carlisle United also sacked the manager at one point and put himself in the job.
Tidy footballer in his younger days hence the quips about ball juggling.
I do believe he is a Derby half fan.
No idea of his current worth although definitely not enough to keep the wolf from the door on his own, so if he is involved (unlikely) it will be part of a consortium.
He`s 100% a Derby fan

Shame about the first name on the list of those that said it was compliant. It kind of damages the credibility ?
Didn`t Nick De Marco (Sports Lawyer) also say that what we did was compliant?

Who own that firm was it the Binnie family? Been a while since they were mentioned
Yes. They apparently re-entered the bidding process 2 weeks ago.

Why would a bloke who no one has ever heard of, with less than 2000 followers get this scoop?
Hope its true, but most likely someone looking for "Likes" and "Followers"

The problem with that theory is that the stadium is collateral in a deal between Mel and MSD and that is not subject to any administration process. If we go under Mel still owns the stadium along with MSD. He could go ahead with plans to make it a covered arena for entertainment events and conventions. It”ll rival the NEC. The stadium would still be viable even if it wasn’t a football ground.
Its covered by a covenant that states it must stay as a football ground

If liquidated, which tier could we realistically restart in?
Are we allowed to keep the same name?
(It's not what I want to happen, but I'd like to know the threat.)
I`m pretty sure it would be 1 league down from the conference, so probably Conference North.
I read somewhere that whilst other Phoenix Clubs have started much lower down the pyramid, none of them are close to the size and fanbase of Derby and any clubs lower than this would simply not be able to cope with the amount of away fans that we would take.

Derby or England on Saturday?

Derby all the way. In fact, I`d rather Derby win on Saturday than England win the World Cup altogether
