Only if we fail to pay the players = suspended 3 point deduction
if we fail to finish the season why would the EFL be bothered - we have beaten most teams anyway and there is no integrity to final league positions anyway
We could also get a 15 point deduction if we fail to pay Football creditors in full and other creditors a Min 25p in the £1

Apologies if this has been covered before and if I have this wrong.
If Ashley bought the stadium from Mel for say 20 million, could he then mortgage the stadium for the full market value?
Assuming he then put the money generated from that mortgage into the club would this then help with FFP and giving room for Wayne Rooney (or Rafa ?) to build a team?
This could be done for sure.

I think that there may be some news about HMRC too ?
-
I see on twitter that BAWT have said that they have a meeting with the Administrators planned for Weds 15th and are asking supporters to contact them with questions which they will be happy to ask if possible.

I think Knight will be sold for around £2 million in Jan. We need CASH up front in order to pay bills and clubs will take advantage of this. Were we trading normally i`m sure we would get 5-8 Million but that would be paid in instalments as is the norm.
our situation right now means that beggars cant be choosers

He, do you mean Mel Morris? I don’t think he is paying interest on anything related to Derby is he? The MSD debt is with the Club. If this goes to liquidation MSD have to make a decision what they want to do with ‘their stadium’. I am sure they might want to sell it with a redevelopment angle, particularly if the Phoenix Club are in the lower reaches of the football pyramid. But as you say no easy task.
TBH i`m not certain as I believe that the stadium has a Personal Guarantee from MM against it, This would mean that if DCFC were liquidated then Mel would be responsible for the debt owed on the stadium to MSD.
Whilst DCFC are playing and paying, Mel doesn`t have an issue.

How much to convert it to a conference\events area (a la Greenwich O2). Not a significant sum perhaps depending on the type of roof structure used.
Christ knows, but lets say its 10 Million?
You then have a facility which stands him at 30 million that he is paying interest on.
You then have to try and get big Gigs at Derby on a regular basis in order for it to stand a chance of breaking even.
Not an easy task.

Same question applies then. Could Morris make a lot of money if it’s sold for land as places of business?
Not enough to cover what he owes to MSD?
-
Its inevitable that players will have to be sold now that the expected takeover date has been moved back to the end of Jan. I think the following players will be sacrificed for sure, but maybe more will need to go depending on how much money the administrators need to keep the club funded until the takeover happens.

Exactly this. Maybe he’s tried to drive a hard bargain and people have walked away - with the debts etc.
If Derby get liquidated, can he sell Pride Park stadium land for flats/ houses and make money that way? If there is no buyer.
You wont be able to build houses on PP. Its categorised as a business park I believe so you could only turn it into factories/warehouses/hotels/offices etc.

As far as I know Wigan only paid 25% to all non football creditors.
Hmrc now has preferred status over some other creditors but there is no reason to expect they would necessarily get any better outcome from Derby’s administration than they did from Wigan’s.As a preferred creditor they are entitled to more than normal creditors.
Generally in football admins 25% is the usual payout so theoretically we could offer HMRC 26% and we are still within the rules as "Preferring" them

Yeah, I think the administrators would need to sell them before the club was liquidated, otherwise they are free to move on for nowt.
They would, but HMRC would get next to nothing as the players would be sold for nowhere near their market value and the Administrators get paid in full out of club funds and what is left would go to creditors, split % equally, so they would only get a % of next to nothing!

One thing I noticed during the Bournemouth game. I'm sat in the East stand and looking over to the West stand, there were several of the boxes seemed completely empty ? Are we not selling them at the moment ?
I pretty sure as with all the catering sides of things at DCFC that boxes are only partially sold due to staffing issues?

Nixon isnt it?

There`s a lot of guess work going on.
The Athletic stated only 3 days ago that it would be 15 in total and Percy then tweeted that it would be 21.
Percy is wrong far more than he is right. Plus he`s a Forest fan so like to stir it a little where we are concerned.
Lets see what happens at next weeks scheduled presser with the Administrators (Thursday I think?)

When reading anything from Percy, you also have to take into account that he is a Red Dog.
He`s bound to twist the knife into us a little more than other journalists!

-
Just under 8k left for tomorrow atm, by my reckoning that`s abut 22k sold to Derby fans if all the ST holders turn up?
-
Did I read that Ramstrust were supposed to be meeting the EFL yesterday? Anyone heard what was said?

Yeah, I am good mates with a Leicester fan, who because he is a nice bloke, is almost embarrassed when chatting footy these days. It doesn't seem so long since we both used to sit there bemoaning our fates and now we have diverged horribly (for us!)
I'm pleased for him and other Leicester fans, who are just like us, really.
I am mates with a Leicester fan too, he`s from Leicester.
He was a staunch Man U fan until about 5 years ago!!

Don't know when the deadline for renewing season tickets is. So could it be the club are waiting to see who is renewing their season ticket, before releasing all remaining seats for general sale?
Renewal deadline is 8th Sept.
Season tickets are then on sale to General public and relocations until 30th Sept and are then removed from sale after this date

The 2020 accounts need submitting to companies house (Apr 2021 deadline)
That`s true, but that wasn`t what i was talking about! Also, because of Covid I believe that the Goverment have given all businesses an extension on submission of accounts!?

But I also think that given Rooney`s comments yesterday, Quantuma need to come out and issue a statement explaining why Rooney was "misled" into believing it was due to be today.
Unless of course, Rooney is simply trying to engineer himself a move?
