Aww, thanks mate. I do clearly recall your trials and tribulations. Now that really was harrowing stuff and I remember thinking at the time that it rather provided some balance and perspective for the rest of us. As it is, perhaps misguidedly, I feel pretty certain the current issues at the club will be resolved so I've remained (between rants ?), relatively calm!

I've already deleted it. And yes, gallows humour works for me. Better to laugh than cry I find.

Well, we have another month of uncertainty and speculation ahead of us.
I don't mind admitting this morning's lack of news has hit me hard.
We need to try and look after ourselves - and each other - over  these next few weeks. 
I feel better when I am watching games. Luckily, there are plenty of Derby games during February to keep us going. 
What will you do to try and keep positive?

"Stupid" is the wrong word, but you're right (in my opinion).
Unfortunately, I am only too well aware what true depression, anxiety, and mental health trauma does to a person, albeit only from a second hand perspective.  (I was close enough for it to have a major effect on myself and my life).  It's truly gruesome, and utterly devastating, but I'm glad to say... on a personal and selfish level... that whatever DCFC, Administrators, Football Authorities, and bald and/or curly businessmen can throw at me, won't even come close to that particular experience. 
This particular mind is far too strong, and this particular skin is far too thick, to have any concerns on that score!

I don't know if I'm being ridiculous but I can't actually see TL going unless he had no other alternative, e.g for the benefit of the club.
His contract is up at the end of the season so if he wants to go, he will have his pick in a few months where the clubs don't have to pay any transfer fee at all for him. That means he could see the money they've saved coming his way either in slightly higher ways, or a sign on bonus. At the same time, he's captain of the club for a few more months in a relegation battle where everybody is digging in and battling to survive together. He seems to really enjoy playing for Derby, and some of that I assume is out of gratitude for how he's treated here given what's happened in the past. Things could have really gone a different way for TL here after the drink-drive incident, I'd be surprised if he doesn't feel indebted to the club and the fans in some way at least.
He has the chance to be part of something special here whilst also earning very decent money. If not he can go off and move to a side at the opposite end of the table for nothing. I'm not sure he'd be ready for a side any higher than that, so the likes of Bournemouth may want him now, but if they get promoted will he get much of a look in next year? I'm not too sure.
