jono got a reaction from LeedsRam1999 in Jozwiak
@RoyMac5… love seeing posts like that. ? Helps you feel like you count and players really do feel it.
I love it when players get their own songs… we need more of them.

This weekend the eyes of the football world will be on the Rams. Absolutely no point in turning up to protest - that would just be a huge shot in the foot. The situation is what it is. Let's turn up, cheer and support WR and the players. 3 points from a win will give the players a huge boost; siege mentality, fans behind them, nothing to lose. We're in this together. If you can keep your head when all about are losing theirs and blaming it on you...

From an article in The Athletic:
"Saturday’s opening Championship fixture against Huddersfield Town will mark the first competitive game where Jozwiak will experience with fans. He makes no secret that he enjoys playing with an intensity and, at times, a little on the edge. He is very much looking forward to a packed Pride Park for extra motivation. And he hopes to inspire a chant.
“I heard that in England fans have songs for certain players they like. But in Poland, we don’t really have that. I don’t know if the Derby fans have one for me or not. But if I could get one, that would be OK. I missed them last season. Sometimes it felt like a friendly. I thrive off the crowd.
“In Lech, I played in front of a lot of fans. I saw at Derby (on TV) that the fans are also very good and Krystian also told me how great they are. So I know the fans will fight with us.
“When you do a good thing and they react you get additional energy. After the game against Sheffield Wednesday, I was trying to drive home and I couldn’t get out of the car park because all the fans came down to support us. Not every place in the world is like that. Sometimes fans only support you when you are in a good position. That was very helpful for us.”

jono got a reaction from Miggins in What’s the vibe
In the pre season I saw enough to give me hope. I am worried about the lack of cover and scoring options but I am looking forward to Saturday far more than I looked forward to a game when we were lost in the Pearson system. Things can only get better as long as we avoid a points deduction

Mmm…At least if WR walked nobody would blame him or be surprised.
Just think though if we beat HTFC 3-0 on Sat with another energetic performance things might just click.

I will support the team regardless of anything
the club situation will sort itself out but we have no control over that and can’t speed it up
the youngsters will need some serious support this season and hopefully we can actually bring in Davies and Jagelka to help with that whilst Forsyth and Shinnie have some serious grand parenting to do on the pitch.

I know we can’t go into specifics. But does anyone feel a little more optimistic now?

Love that for him, duck off the EFL ara t race and go play in an easy league in a beautiful country. No shame in it, he’ll have a great time.
Who was he playing for last season? Luton? Can’t say I’ve been to Melbourne but I’ve been to Luton and I doubt he’ll miss it.

Is it just me or does it look like he's having a picnic in the cemetery?

Ditch the beans, add olive oil, garlic and Parmesan and I might begin to agree with you.
Ideal - cook bacon and garlic in a little oil till crispy (don’t burn the garlic ) toss the pasta (al dente) in the oil/bacon/garlic, add Parmesan and black pepper

I'm going balls deep with the positivity this season, 2-0 with CKR as FRGS

Mel might want to get some stuff off his chest about Steve Gibson, Wycombe, Barnsley’s (now Forest’s CEO) who have been the most prominent in sticking the boot into us alongside the EFL. As would fans similarly. An NDA protects this.
He might want to say stuff about P&S (FFP) which he doesn’t want releasing yet, he might even want to say (or inadvertently say) a couple of sensitive things about the takeover which he doesn’t want out in the public domain.
There are a multitude of valid reasons why an NDA would be put in place, the fans groups (including David on our behalf) have all challenged it and been given assurances minutes will be released. Let’s give them a chance and save the criticism for when the minutes are released (if required).
@Davidthank you for representing us, best of luck and hope you get to ask all the questions you intend to.

I think that is the easiest “spot to difference” quiz I’ve ever seen

jono reacted to i-Ram in Poll: Do we fans need a 'pound of flesh' from Mel?
Even if it was mortgaged to some extent it was still a club asset.
GstarRam frequently states we had a £15m loan when Mel bought the club, but I can’t confirm that, nor that the stadium was subject to any legal charge at that time.

He already has lost his health and enormous amount of money, yet 20% want more punishment and 5% are uncertain?
Jeez, give it a rest.

Absolute doldrums is a bit harsh mate.
We have some great young players who are improving all the time and we are trying to get some players in .
We have until 31st of August.to do that if the EFL back off a little bit

jono reacted to GenBr in Poll: Do we fans need a 'pound of flesh' from Mel?
Mel has given me pretty much the only good times that Derby have ever had in my lifetime and whilst I am disappointed with the mistakes and mismanagement over the last few years it doesn't diminish said good times.
