The Friday night game vs Fulham, despite ultimately counting for nothing, was one of my favourite matches at Pride Park of all time.

Totally agree. He conducted himself well, imbued a fighting unified spirit in players and fans alike. That and a few flashes of old magic reminded us occasionally that he’d been some player in his pomp. I don’t think I have ever heard fans shout so loud in support when we went behind and were battered and bruised.

I try not to let what's happened since he left Derby have an impact on my memories of Rooney's time at Derby.
I remember feeling very proud of being a Derby fan during that season that we were relegated and was there at Moore Farm when Rooney led the players to address us fans.
I've got nothing but happy memories of Wayne Rooney as Derby manager which is odd given we were relegated!

The key to this appointment will be who he takes down there as his coaching team.
I think Rooney did okay in the figurehead part of the role for us, but it's obvious now that Rosenior was the coaching part of the team. A bit similar to Lampard and Jody Morris.
At least Plymouth is a bit more out of the spotlight than us and Birmingham were, give him some time to build.

Absolutely no ill feeling towards Rooney, wish the bloke well apart from when we play them.

Missing a piece of information here. It’s not “we” …..there is a man involved and it’s his debt / liability / obligation / guarantee that would be on the overdraft .. So does he want to run up that debt which would be in his lap when everything is added up. ?

Sort of like, I should take finance out on a new car, pending my scratch card win in 2 years time.

Good shout, not heard it too much before, people often say he should be a 10.
This is maybe why he's done well at LWB, as he's always facing goal and running from deep.

I have a few occasions to use chiropractors and Osteopaths. Usually with good results.

Years ago as a relative youngster, after a shunt in a car, a chiro sorted out horrendous neck and shoulder pain but it did take 4 or 5 visits
About 20 years ago I got nasty sciatic pain and an osteo worked wonders
For a different reason it came back recently. Did a Chiro with little benefit but found another and I am pretty much back to full power.

Backs and bones near Allestree Park have a fab reputation and it’s worked for me

if he really dreams of playing for Nuno Espirito Santo he'd be better off waiting until he moves to another club, because if Nuno hasn't got them safely into mid-table by December, he'll be gone.

I did try to post a bona fide transfer rumour on here, but I think there's so little actual news (Nixon describes us as still at the homework stage) that people are drowning out the tiny snippets there are with these bizarre arguments about if you can sign a player or not.
With players and hopefully management (?) on their hols, I guess it's going to be quiet, and then it's the Euros, and maybe the actual transfer whirligig won't kick in until then. Actually winning automatic promotion meant the season felt as if it finished remarkably early, so now everyone's drumming their fingers like Bree Larson - IYKYK.

Not a comment on Murphy, but if we're playing with WBs, we need at least 4 options. WB is by far the most most physically demanding position in modern football and expecting 3 players only to cover the two slots over a 50 game season is a recipe for disaster IMO.

Yes ! Although I am pretty sure if PW wants a certain 1 million pound player he can have him, BUT what Clowes won’t do is have the monthly drain that a bloated wage bill would incur.
