If you move from Pride Park, you are likely to lose it forever or a very long time....it would be a disastrous decision regardless of the league we are in.

Can't help but feel Quantuma bigged up how much of an obstacle to selling the club Boro's claim represented.
I've certainly not been "pleasantly surprised" by the speed of progress since it was removed.

How, in their current situations, did I manage to be the combination of a DCFC fan and a Yorkshire cricket supporter?!? No escapism for me

The EFL can reap what they sow from backing the Boro and Wycombe claims.

Radio Derby just interviewed John Dorkin and Pauline Latham about team Derby meeting this afternoon.
No in person meeting today because of illnesses. It was a telephone meeting.
Q said that bids have been received, it's moving forwards and it's still an ongoing process. They are looking through bids and clarifying
No timescale for announcement of PB
Q told that communication has not been up to scratch.
Both MP's said that Q have over - promised and under - delivered and whilst we don't expect them to tell us confidential details, we need some communication as it leads to lack of confidence for the fans and frustration for all associated with the club. The team, Wayne and the fans need to know.
I think both MP's are going to continue to push Q for better communication.

The admins are already on record as saying they believe that the EFL are leaking confidential info to the press, so why would they ever tell them anything that they absolutely didn't have to?

Good point, the fact TL is currently suspended for a straight red and RS has just returned from 1 should have given me a clue really

The first tweet was linked to Derby asking the EFL if we can sign free agents.
EFL response: "Cazoo, yeah you can."

I think you're misreading people's minds. I want Mike Ashley in but for the oposite reason to that which you state. Mike Ashley is incredibly good at buying businesses in distress and making them profitable. We have had an owner who tried to get us to the promised land with the shortest journey. He took a sort cut through hazardous waters, icebergs, sharks, storms. He nearly sank the ship. Now we need an owner who will get us to that promised land but who will take the long way around - through the calm waters. Mike Ashley was at Newcastle a long time. We need that, not some investment company with a three year exit strategy, but someone who will take us to the Premier league without breaking rules. It might be five years of finishing mid table before we see a top six but I will take that over the risks that MM took.

Am not sure Ashley can be described as a classic asset stripper but he won't buying the club out of the goodness of his heart by the same token.

Of the three,
I'd like Appleby as the GSE ownership was frustrating and penny pinching but professional and diligent.
Ashley I don't hate but don't love either. If it's run on a nil investment basis like Newcastle we can all get board very quickly but if it's get in the prem to advertise sports direct then it'll be fun for a while.
Binnies, unknown, could be great, could be our SISU
