I suspect (absent any other evidence) that the issues with Morris retaining ownership of the stadium aren’t the fact it’s Morris that owns it, it’s that the MSD loan would likely remain in place with Morris servicing it from the rent we pay.  So that’s a ticking time bomb that could go off if Morris runs out of money and decides to sell, or the club has further financial issues and misses rent, or a dozen other potential things. If it’s safely in the hands of the council, it’s probably a much safer bet medium-to-long-term.

Thank you B4, it was my brother who was being seen to by paramedics. A flare landed next to us and another DCFC fan tried to put it out by stamping on it,  but by doing that he actually just stamped the blast into by brothers ankle which was like a small explosive landing on it. He didn’t have breathing problems, the paramedics were giving him gas and air for the pain. It was feared that his ankle was fractured but after a trip to hospital he was told it was just badly bruised and swollen thankfully. I just thought I’d let you know that he’s fine now. It was just a bit of a sour note on which was a brilliant day out!

The Boro/Wycombe claims were a stumbling block. They should gave been dealt with in a court of law, and no court would even consider them as they were so spurious. The efl wanted them dealt with in one of their “independent tribunals”, the title of which being about as truthful as calling our Prime Minister “Honest Boris”. That is why they were left hanging so long before “DTID Mel” sorted Gibson out for us.
