Genuine question: do we really think anyone with a player that needs developing would look to the Derby coaching staff as the people to do that?

If he is only manager by default it is because of the cost of sacking him. There will always be someone prepared to give it a go and apply if the job was advertised. Also, to be fair, I think most Derby fans are acutely aware that the situation is complex and difficult.

What does that even mean? "We could have won". We didn't, because we always concede last minute goals. I don't put it at Rooney's door. I put it at Mel's for hiring Rooney and then not sacking him.

Our club is sinking to new lows every single day. On all levels from top to bottom. 
If I was starting out today looking for a club to follow, I wouldn’t choose this lot.

Exactly…….it’s not even the defeat- that I can take on the chin.
My problem is the utter shambles of a “tactical system” pre Sibley.
Look difference in performance in Shinnie, first part of the game he looked like he didn’t have a scoobie what he was doing/where he was supposed to be.
After the change he was much improved, had his aggression back and played to a position he understood!
