I watched in on RamsTV and I couldn't believe how much Barker kept going on about the Exeter game as this miracle performance, that we had somehow fallen from a heavenly state in just four days. As I recall, we beat a tragically poor Exeter team - but not exactly with ease.
When were we last actually good? I'll give you the second half of the first half of the Posh game but besides that I cannot think of a time. This has been a steady descent into abject mediocrity.

Ipswich recognized it just wasn’t working under Paul Cook - a manager with a decent reputation and who many thought would get Ipswich going. It just never worked out for him there.
Paul Warne isn’t a bad manager. But what he is trying here just won’t work. The fans won’t accept it. Technical footballers won’t accept it. We have to get rid and bring in a manager who will look at our better players and play to their strengths.
Getting rid of Liam Rosenior was an awful lack of judgement.
Keeping Warne would be even worse.

Two things should follow this shoddy, embarrassing showing ....
1. The Hundred should be scrapped forthwith
2. English international T20 and ODI players should, at the very least, play SOME domestic T20 and/or 50-over cricket, otherwise it becomes a closed shop.
