Great news, and he sounds just as enthusiastic as Kane Wilson did when he signed for us. We need players who want to work their socks off for the team, and both these ex FGR players do this.

If you go in the Five Lamps there is a marvellous painting (probably a print) of the Ozzie end corner looking down Cambridge? St with the floodlights on, full of colour and it elicits a thrill every time I look at it.
The noise and presence of the BBG used to travel across the City. We lived on Larges St and one Sat I was in the garden listening to Graham Richards when Derby was playing Chelsea I think in the cup, a big crowd for the 80’s. I could hear the crowd seconds after a goal was scored, or there was a chance missed. I think Derby lost!. Not being in Derby during the 70’s l could only wonder what the noise was like then. Also for night games the sky would be lit up by the floodlights.
The BBG was iconic and sadly missed.

I'd drop Hourahan, I know he's captain but that shouldn't give him a free pass every game. Very dissapointed in him this season, bar a couple of excellent goals, does very little for me.

Better than Fanny Adams I guess?

If i remember rightly him & Waggy looked good together upfront in the season behind closed doors before injury hit.
Gregory would chip in with a few goals for sure, and as well as proving cover for Collins should he get injured/suspended, he would also give us a chance to actually rest Collins abit more rather than him having to play full 90s every game.

Hopefully but like any transfer window you need to have a pulling factor when trying g to sign players. Clubs in the prem will look at style of play, how many minutes there players get etc and also previous management club improving there players. Exactly why clubs look to loan to a Bolton or Peterborough. Both have great styles of play and in the case of Bolton have improved players and given them minutes. Look at the Liverpool connection and also the players willingness to join that management team.
 
If I was a player would I look at derby as a place to develop as a young pro - no 
does the manager have a track record with us of giving young players minutes - no 
is the style of play easy on the eye - no I wouldn’t say so 
it’s not just the club but the manager who has to look attractive. Look at hull if Rosenior wasn’t there manager would they have signed who they have I highly doubt it
