    I'm not Morrison's greatest fan, but for the goal, he sprinted from miles away in order to put pressure on what should have been a routine defensive clearance, definitely deserved an assist for that goal.

    At the half way point of the season, I've noticed the following;
    Add the 9 points deducted for financial irregularities and we would be 23rd
    or add the 12 points for going into administration, we would be 22nd
    or add the 17 points lost from winning positions, we would be 19th
    or add them all together and another 38 points would put us 1 point behind the top team, with a game in hand.

    Fozzy and Stearman - probably not the posters up on many fans’ bedroom walls, but heroes today (so far) the pair of them.

    Don't get me wrong, I'm no Wazza acolyte, but I agree with every word of this. I'd also venture that since there's no likelihood of a new manager coming in, unless of course he decides to walk, that some on here really need to park the relentless sniping and just get behind him and the players. Deriding him for not bringing in Everton and Manure starlets is some of the most one-eyed nonsense I've read on this forum.
    Let's assess his ability to sign players based on his rep when the EFL actually allow us to eh, because last time I checked, there were none of the United's top young talents on the free agents list. Nor will there ever be.

    Consensual agreement with Boro and Wycombe? Why don't we tell the chancer bar stewards to do one? Paying them a single penny for their absurd claims would be a travesty and an embarrassment.

    Point taken, but it doesn't affect my argument, we would have been better off with more players rather than relying on the fitness of one player.

    But with regard to FFP and sensible financial management, it may be prudent to sell one 'star' player on high wages and replace him with 3 good league one players. This would strengthen the squad and make us less susceptible to losing one key player to injury. Had we had sold Beilik last January for a few million and had replaced him with a couple of decent strikers, I think that we would be in a far healthier position at the moment.

    As good as the current midfielders have been playing, none have the creative ability of Bielik to make that decisive pass going forward. Joz played far better when Bielik was in the team, resulting in us creating more last season.

    A common trait we have, is playing the ball to a player's feet rather than in front of him, allowing him to run onto it. This slows down or even stops a potential attack. This is simple enough in theory, but requiring a pass which is both accurate in direction and pace, in practice.

    Isn't this figure based on current income and expenditure? Current income is severely reduced by the fact that a large proportion of the attendance have already paid for their season tickets some time ago. I would think that without administration costs and including future season ticket sales, the club would be close to running at a profit.
    It'll interesting to see when next season's season tickets are made available and at what cost.

    Is it just me, or is anyone else getting the feeling that his return is getting pushed back?

    I seem to remember Rooney saying that he should be training with the squad after the international break. Also, in comparison to his previous injury, he seems to be behind schedule, after we were told that he was initially doing better than before.
