Dogs will stay up. Are they under any restrictions next season? Hopefully another tough one for them!!

Brother in law is a Leeds fan. He reckons some of their fans only go to away games and don’t attend home ones. There also seems to be a bit of a market in reselling their tickets on social media. The “marketing” of their away following seems to have driven their ticket sales

Couple of games… the one where Liverpool were on some sort of record run and Mickey Forsyth equalised to make it 1-1 and Liverpool nearly collapsed under the atmosphere; last match for King Kev, scored the winner against a promoted Watford, 3-2

Does anyone remember a game at the BBG in the early 80s - midweek, probably a Wednesday- not too many there, about 10,000, possibly against Shrewsbury but maybe not…however there was a big storm with wind howling around the Ley Stand. The big metal loudspeakers which used to hang down from the top of the stand were blowing all over the place. It was mad because they were huge big chunks of metal. People underneath them were moved then one came loose from its cable, falling and destroying multiple seats-smashing them to pieces. If anyone had been sitting underneath they would have been killed instantly. Always stayed with me that one. If we hadn’t been completely crap for years and had a full house people would have died. Tommy Docherty inadvertently helped save the lives of a few people that day.
Think it was Shrewsbury. Lashed it down. I was in the Normo end. Swindlehurst scored a cracker

Beating Newcastle 3-2 at home December 83. I was 13 and it was the best atmosphere i'd seen at a non Forest game.
2 Nil down at HT after goals from Waddle and Keegan and we looked dead and buried. As soon as Davison pulled one back the whole crowd erupted and never really quietened till Bobby and Archie sealed the win.
Can beat a comeback as underdogs.
Agree on this one. The atmosphere was amazing. I think the match report in the DET by Gerald Mortimer started with something like “The walls of the Baseball Ground strained with emotion..” Had it stuck on my bedroom wall for a long time. Also lost a show on the Popside 😂

Archie’s last match at Shrewsbury. All those missing seats!

Not all of you may know about this. But we’re hosting this event at Pride Park week on Saturday. Promotion party!!
David Clowes, Stephen Pearce, Colin Todd, Roy McFarland, Colin Boulton, Seth Johnson, Darryl Powell, Ronny Webster and possibly more will all be there. If those of you not already booked can come would be a great evening to have a proper catch up.- Carl Sagan and ariotofmyown

Got to say, the acoustics at the Shitty Ground are amazing…. You can hear all the players talking to each other straight after kickoff

Definitely need more. Living in Leeds, I see quite a bit of street art with regards to their football team. A lot of the telephone exchange boxes are painted by someone. I think they call him/her the Kirkstall Banksy.

Logged on to renew 3 STs. Asked me to update my profile (title and gender). Did so. Hit save…. Said my email address is already taken. Do they test this stuff or what?!

I enjoy reading @RoyMac5 posts with regards to style of football. To me she/he is obviously a massive Derby fan and will enjoy our promotion as much as anyone else if it should happen. I have no problem with him criticising our style at times and I happen to agree with his opinion a lot of the time. Where we disagree is probably on Warne’s future in the championship (hopefully). I’m not a Warne fan (in terms of football style) but think he deserves a chance with us in the championship and maybe he can too change his style.
Keep posting @RoyMac5👍🏽

Warne makes no secret of how he sees the game successfully played in League One. Athletic players that get the ball down the channels and into the box. He said in an interview earlier in the season that it’s much more difficult (he may have said intricate) to create goal chances through the midfield.
He’s also said that most championship sides play the same way (different to L1). If he gets us up, he deserves a chance to have a go at the Championship. He’s an honest bloke and I suspect will give us his thoughts on the style of play he wants to adopt in the championship once we get there and not before. Also, I would have thought the Clowes has had this discussion with him before he gave him the job.
