    I can’t believe it, really.
The team up against it all, the chaps that are fighting to keep a smile on the faces of everyone in and around the club, are the ones who I have felt closest to as a fan.
That might not make sense, but the lads that go out there and give it their best for 90 minutes in the first team, the 23’s, 18’s, to me, are the most likeable that we’ve had in a long long time.
Saw that post about Festy Ebosele earlier, dare I say it it made me feel rather emotional.
We have a bunch of players who are the most ambitious, determined, down to earth players that we’ve ever had at this club, and it kind of makes me sad that the season I have felt this way has ultimately been this season. I wish and I hope that we don’t lose any more of these fantastic chaps that we have at this football club.
I thank Rooney, Rosenior, Walker and co, for keeping fighting, for staying grounded, determined, and battling against the odds but honestly, this set of lads that we go out in our numbers and support, are the most genuine, honest and most likeable we’ve had at Derby County football club in such a long time.
I really really hope we can retain the vast majority of these past this season.
I think regardless of circumstance come May, come Cardiff @ home, we can look back and see that every single individual at this club, the players, the staff, the fans, have all shown us who they are deep down, and have shown commitment, ambition, determination. The three most important characteristics.
Be proud of yourselves, and keep fighting against all odds.

Back in the early 2010,s can’t remember the year, Crystal Palace were in a similar position, I was in holiday in Weymouth and went and sat in the car listening to TalkSPORT, they were almost doing a countdown, I think it was with ten minutes to spare that the news came through that they were saved, look where they are now.
I realistically think that this is what will happen with Derby, times are tough enough as it is at the moment without beating yourself up over something that hasn’t happened yet.

Like has been said, mate. Try not to follow the latest news 24/7 because you'll make every second of this torture count.
Try to focus on other things. It will be hard but just watch a movie, go for a walk, catch up on a couple of things that you keep putting off.
Everything that is happening is happening behind the scenes. Sure there's a few trumpets blown on social media but essentially nothing is changing day by day/hour by hour.
Wycombe still are, Gibson always will be, Derby won't give up, The EFL are the EFL... so you're not going to miss anything by just stepping back from the noise.
    Don't torture yourself!!

Oh dear...I really hope the Club buy the stadium.  Paying a landlord is a millstone around your neck.  Alternatively you could play your games in another city like your fellow Championship members Coventry City did on 2 occasions (Northampton 1 season and Birmingham for 2 seasons), over a 5 year period.  The crowds at Northampton were 1/8 of the attendances in the city for several months.  Then BCFC,  50% of previous season attendance for some games but far lower most of the time.
Back to what is best for Derby: Own your ground. Own your training ground. Respect you, the fans.

@RoyMac5 can I just say how grateful I, and so many others, are with the tweets, quotes and posts you put on here. Really does mean that this forum covers all bases. The constant stream of posts is vital at keeping us who don’t particularly use other platforms up to date.

Keep up the good work. Thanks.

I may be in the minority now, I usually am, but I think we now just let Quantuma get on with their job.
The work done by so many over recent days has had great success mobilising large groups of fans (Rams and others), and tremendous success in getting publicity for our grievances, both on TV/Radio, in the press, and astonishingly as a question in the UK parliament today. It has also flushed out the responses of the EFL and Boro.
BUT now it does come down to the suits to sort it out. We should not be distracting them from what will be a vital few weeks negotiating with the EFL, Boro, and our preferred buyer, knowing the whole football world, and the Government are watching very closely. Well done everyone, and come on Quantuma. You Rams!

When all of this is done and dusted, I can't wait for the independent inquiry starting from the very beginning.
From us changing amortisation policy, it being approved by the EFL, stadium sale, stadoum sale profit being approved, the decision to revisit the accounts, the charges, the choice of experts to justify the charges, the makeup of the LAP, the constant delays, being "dissapointed" at outcomes and "regret" over being unable to appeal, and then the recent mess over the last few months.
There should only be one outcome from all of that...

Somehow we need to raise £7m by the end of the month, the only way is by the preferred bidder putting £7m into a bank account.

It is clear that the EFL want us relegated but remember it was Mel and Pearce that put us in this position.

We cannot do anything about the EFL in the short term so the Admins need to concentrate on the preferred bidder putting £7m in a bank account.
I don’t understand the EFL stance on Middlesbrough and Wycombe as neither have applied to court to sue us or asked to go down the arbitration route.
The EFL issue is not just about us, it’s about everyone. The Government need to appoint an independent regulator (the same as banking, insurance, energy etc) to oversee the industry of sport, particularly in football it has been shown that they cannot regulate themselves. All of those wanting covid deductions to satisfy FFP will want independent and transparent decisions from the EFL are they likely to have that.
I read on twitter (so probably not true) that the EFL only allowed Derby and Reading 5 mil for covid losses, which if true would leave a lot 0f clubs in major problems

If Rooney goes get Warnock in. He’d probably work for free if it means he gets the chance to keep us up and stick 2 fingers up at Gibson. That would definitely finish the pube headed wobble gob off.
