Never a story I'd posted before... But one none the less. When we got tanked against Rotherham back in Feb saw him at a bank in Derby. Heard someone ask him what happened against Rotherham, he told them that Rooney had them playing a formation that they had no idea how to play and no players knew their role. Hearing a player say that, no ownership for being s*#t that day and all the blame on the manager.

Not the kind of footballer we need at the club.

The manager sets the players up in a way that none of the players understood and it's the player that needs binning off?

    Now let’s play who’s who?

Who’s hurdling behind Ebosele in photo 2?

Who’s behind Dixon in photo 27 and also on the left of photo 29 with Jordan Brown?

Is it Luke Plange on the left of photo 31 (with the player mentioned above in #27 and #29). Also in photo 32?

I feel like I should know these @Ghost of Clough. Any ideas?

    Is it Duncan hurdling?

    Starting line up next season:

    GK: Clough & Taylor Statue

    RB: Rammie

    CB: Private Derby

    CB: Derek from Chad

    LB: Walking Backwards Man

    RM: The King of Rome

    CM: Robert Lindsay

    CM: Robert Maxwell's Re-animated Corpse

    LM: Owen Bradley

    CF: The Steve Bloomer Bust

    CF: Kenco Coffee Cup

I bet we'd still do better than last season.

If you dont laugh, you'd be a Forest fan.

Bit disappointed that "3 bunches for a pound today" man doesnt make the starting 11.

Could this be a good thing. We have bare bones in terms of the first time squad, as it is u23s and u18s are going to have to step up.

Wayne (or whoever the manager is) will have a couple of weeks at least to identify who can step up.

Stretton, Kornell McDonald, Liam Thompson, Tyreese Wilson, now is their time.

If and when we finally get the green light to strengthen, Wayne SHOULD know exactly what he needs.

Interested to hear peoples thoughts about at what point do you decide enough is enough and you cancel your season ticket? There will always be those who say they'll fork out £500 a season because in their eyes they're the most loyal supporter...of which you're a chairman's dream!

Me personally, I refuse to be served up a poo sandwich. I won't be committing my money to watch a bunch of kids turn out and get turned over week in week out if we fail to invest in the playing squad. I don't think that makes me a glory supporter... but I don't think I'll have the right to complain each week if I buy a ticket knowing that the squad is under funded and left in a state. Effectively,  you know that you're getting yourself in for!

    What's everyone else's considerations?

I suppose at the point when I could be confident I will actually get the money back.

I dont want to cancel and I'd be happy to go and watch league 1, 2 or any football as long as Derby County are playing.

Imagine if Derby fail p&s by £499.99 and it's all down to you cancelling your season ticket of 500 quid ?

I just don’t see how we can get a takeover done with the limbo we are in at the minute just don’t see why anyone would or even be able to

If the club is being given away for free it wont be hanging on the price changing depending on the outcome of the charge.  The Americans will also be aware of the debt.

It's just whether we get a points deduction, which is starting to sound highly unlikely.

Unfortunately this season is a right off before its begun and if/when the takeover happens we will probably be at the wrong end of the table and fighting for our lives.

I would love Nixon to be right on this issue, and hope we are taken over soon, heard some rumours about the take over, but will not say as its just rumours but hope we get this over the line ASAP. As fans we need some positive news, as there has been so much negativity recently, there most be some good news around the corner please.

Is the Burnley takeover a positive? Genuine question as I thought the fans were annoyed that all of a sudden there club with zero debt were now in debt.

    That is funny.

I'm trying to turn my forum life around man but its hard. I don't usually go in for the personal insults, I just like to go full liable every now and again. But I'm on the straight and narrow now.

Absolutely love this. These are the things that remind us that midst all the chaos and stress, we can still make 'go-to' memories that can carry us though tougher times. It's clear you have done just that and I doubt it's just me that cracked a little smile on reading this. Well played mate ?

Thanks, it really does mean a lot.

We do not get Mount, Tomori and Wilson if it wasn’t for Lampard.

You can’t sign those kind of players on loan in January.

This is the summer, barely been any transfer activity at the minute, but who’s to say will want to come and play for Rooney.

The guy is a legend in the game, forget the memes, many will be in awe of what he has achieved and want to spend a year under him, soaking up all they can.

It’s another reason why it makes sense to stick with him.

10 games in, struggling, look like we’re heading for another relegation battle, that’s when you look to pull the trigger but you still have those players at the club.

It’s a risk, but so is sacking him and bringing in whoever.

Maybe the club have a list of players ready to go, can see the quality and Rooney lure to pull it off.

As you say, this may even include staff changes.

I notice Nicky Butt is still without a club.
