You are  just taking a pedantic view here.
If you don’t think that an institution that is built upon fans paying to keep a club running isn’t answerable to its main income stream then I’d have to question your logic.

No fans, no income, no club.

The fans are the clubs customers, in fact its their whole customer base. And without the income from season tickets, match day tickets and hot dogs. They’d have nothing to rescue.

So, it’s not very often I would say this so plainly. You are wrong. They are answerable to the fan base as a whole, as we are their biggest stakeholders.
I do disagree with making a list of demands though, just a line asking for a quick update would suffice and waste less time and hysteria.

Completely agree when people ask questions it is quicker but then again I don’t think you would give 3 deadlines to put your work in to miss all deadlines. Think somebody higher up would be asking questions on what you are doing with your time. The admins have made a rod for there own back by giving deadlines and missing every single one and also what doesn’t help is we have been here before this time last year so it’s like deja vu and look how that ended!!

I personally think Colin KR would'nt be as effective starting and the same goes for Ebosele. Knight, Plange and Jozwiak kept their defence busy and bringing on two fresh and both different attacking players bamboozled the defence.  Lawrence had a quiet game and could have scored, the same goes for Ravel when he came on. They are very much the same in their positions on the pitch and I don't think you can play both at the same time for long periods in a match.

I read in the daily Mirror earlier this week that Reading are desperate to sell players in the transfer window to sort out their finances. If thats true and they sell 2 or 3 players, they could become a weaker team. Even better if they get their 6 points suspended activated.

Feeling smug, Plange scored, and the Stoke match I picked out for a draw. So thats our surprise win, lets hope the other teams  I picked out to win against come to fruition. Need to find another draw against another opponent in our remaining games. That would give us 47 points. If thats not enough, then  hope we climb above the current 2 teams above us and Reading balls up and have their other 6 points that are currently suspended activated.

It's too big a mess to sort out, the Administrator's will end up taking their fee and liquidising us.

I'm just guessing, but if Gadsby and Appleby have joined forces with their respective backers. Could the other bidder in the mix be MSD, who we owe a lot of money to. I certainly don't think its Mike Ashley or any other British led consortium.

We need 12 wins, 4 draws and 7 defeats then. Well we have lost 7 in the 1st half of the season, so we have to match that in the 2nd half. Double our wins and cut down on the draws. !2 winnable games, Cardiff home and away, Reading away, Sheff Utd home, Brum home, Hull home, Peterboro home, Barnsley home, Preston home, Bristol home, Blackpool away and one other which could be a surprise/shock result. 4 draws could come from  Stoke away, Forest away, Swansea away and QPR away.
But this will only happen if we start scoring more goals, Plange, Stretton or an incoming striker in the transfer window ?                                 I think its a tall order, but not impossible, we will have to see.

I'm going to make a prediction about him, within the next year he will make the Rep. Ireland 1st team squad. He can play rightback, ridhtwing back, Leftwing back and Rooney sees him has a striker. Hats off to our scout in Ireland who could have been invovled in Jason Knight and even Hendrick previously.

Stats of past Derby Managers are all different for lots of reasons. Players available, Transfer monies available, What league the team was playing in, Experience of the manager(in years of coaching etc). You can add all sorts of facts to each one, but few will argue the best man we had was Brian Clough in terms of sucesss.
There seems to be a lot of forum members slating Wayne, especially on last season. Well he certainly was a novice steering the club wearing "L Plates".  He now has a bigger task, no money, 21 points deducted, embargo's, club up for sale etc. But here's some current stats under Wayne's stewardship; 7 defeats (only 7 teams have lost less), 21 goals conceded (only 3 teams have conceded less), -3 goal difference (11 teams have a worse goal diff). Our goals scored are not so good though, but we have'nt got a goal machine in this squad, not Wayne fault but perhaps he might find that from Luke Plange and when fit Jack Stretton. In the 10 draws so far this season, if we had a natural goalscorer we might have won 5 of those draws and would be sat on 14 points with a plus goal difference.
We need to judge Wayne at the end of the season and if we end up playing League One football next season, this will be another big challenge to who ever is in the hot seat.

plymouthram got a reaction from Asanovic70 in The young players from the academy who are coming into the first team..
What we do have, is a proven academy and probably the best outside the Premiership. Any young talent that is looking to make in football would look at Derby County if their parents had any sense.  Those who went to an Academy side in the Premiership were always up against more competition and its been proven with Luke Plange being released by Arsenal and Louie Watson at West Ham, then improving at Moor Farm.
We have created a top class youth academy that will continue to attract young talent for years to come. The man to take the credit is Darren Wassall.  The manager that brought him to Derby from Burton was Nigel Clough, so he must also take some credit, Nigel was sacked in September 2013 but had stated in the March of 2013 "The Academy should almost be ring fenced and whoever comes in next, I hope they have the sense to leave it alone and let it continue working".  I'm not going to list the players that have made it from academy status to either Premiership, Championship or lower proffesional leagues. The list is quite big, but I will mention one player who I thought could have made it with the Rams, Timi Max Elsnik who made only the 1st team in the Carabao cup but went on loan to a few clubs before being released and is mow playing for Olimpija Lujbljana in the top flight of Slovenia and recently made his debut for Slovenia in Octoberthis year.
