Good. I liked him as a player and felt his contribution was a bit under rated by the fans because of how he arrived.

Seems sensible deal all-round and its nice to see the vast majority of our fans have learned the lessons of the last few years and see it as such.
We have cover for him and the money will get 2 players where we are short.
Good business and he leaves with a lot of credit but with no gaping hole.

Bradley is replacing Davies, Stearman and Chester. The three of them made the equivalent to only 26.5 league games for us last season.

Not usually itk often, have been on the odd occasion mainly with shirt designs and the very rare occasion on signings....but I have been told both Washington & Bradley have signed, Washington was completed today

Well that’s two strikers we now have who don’t score goals.

Don’t get peoples reluctance to loans, it’s such a necessary part of football now. Anyone who improves the side is fine by me. If a chance to sign them great, if not then take whilst you can.

Potentially. His contract is up next year but Ipswich have a 12 month option. So potentially maybe available cheap next year. So maybe we would want to see how good he is, how he does with a loan?
Leyton Orient dominated that league last season and by all accounts he was brilliant. He made the League two team of the season. So naturally the next step is a League one loan.
Some Ipswich fans even want him to stay, whilst the majority are happy he is not being sold but being sent out on loan.
Now Ipswich have signed Taylor from Peterborough. They currently have 9 central midfielders on the books so will be offloading.
So hopefully this would be a nice easy deal to complete?

The family area is called that fir a reason. Yes some of the songs are a bit ripe but standing and shouting f****** have em us not right.
If you want to do that you can sit in another area.

Agree. Not the last bit though. I'm a local Cllr so have a reputation to uphold

I know it doesn’t make any sense at all but there is, in my mind, a subtle difference between a crowd of people 100 yards away singing songs with profanities than an individual a yard or two away shouting out the same words.
I would take my grandsons to a match, if they lived locally, and cringe when the songs started up - hoping they wouldn’t quite make out all the words from that distance. I would feel a whole lot more uncomfortable if an individual nearby used one of the words.

I think you have a right to expect anyone sitting in the designated family area to watch their language and, if they ignore requests to stop, perfectly entitled to report them. You're going to get audible swearing from adjacent sections and most certainly all round the stadium for certain songs, but that's different to having someone nearby using the worst swearwords aggressively and persistently. Everyone should be cut some slack at particularly tense moments, but that's all imo.

They are my Grandchildren so I can't really accept what I 'maybe" would if they were my own. Also it's not an isolated incident.
I'll stick to my guns on this one but I'm very suprised by some of the responses

Seats are clearly marked as family area and behaviour should be commensurate with those present.
I find it astounding that comments such as they shouldn't go to football. They are both football mad so why should I stop them going because individuals decide to behave unacceptably in the area they are seated

Are you sure he wasn't swearing at you?

True. But it's not really the right thing to do, to ignore that the Family Area isn't the place for adults to be rude idiots. So add in telling the child that the person doing the inconsiderate swearing shouldn't be behaving like that as it's not appropriate.

The point of the family area is that you respect the families who sit there, in my opinion. The one at fault is the person shouting and should not be surprised to be asked to calm the language down.
In the stadium as a whole, I explained to my kids when they were little about the places and people who do not want to hear it, as you just know they use that language with their mates.
