Suspect we get a better version of Waggy than Coventry or Huddersfield did.
I understand why people have reservations about him signing, but I'd rate this one higher than I would Rhodes/Sharp signing.

There aren't many players who you could guarantee would run through a brick wall for the cause - but we've just signed one.

I know he isnt rapid in terms of pace but he isnt a slouch either, he will be a good addition this season

How can you not love Waggy. 
He may not be what some people want, but on a 1yr deal he will, if nothing else, bring bags of effort and enthusiasm.

The best thing DC can do imo is continue working to a strict budget over the next couple of years, then either look to sell or bring on investors once the balance sheets are properly sorted.

Lowest level he will have played at, he is more than capable of getting over double figures this season.
I think fans dont rate him because of the price we paid for him originally but he isnt that bad, to play his whole career in the top 2 leagues in England & Scotland isnt to be dismissed so easily.
He showed against top end Champ (Prem) defenders in the Sheff Utd friendly that he can cause problems so he will cause League 1 defenders problems for sure.

Prem teams will be naming their squads this week at the end of pre season, expect us to start seeing more names linked for loans.

Scott Hogan, and Lukas Jutkiewicz both available from Blues according to Nixon. I’d have them over Sharp and Waghorn. Also says Alex Pritchard might be available from Sunderland. A good No 10 in league 1. 

If we're looking at striker loans, I wonder about Oakley Cannonier from Liverpool. A prolific 19 year old. Has was injured some of last season, but I see he's back and just opened the campaign with another hat-trick:

If that’s the case, use the money for loans and promote Dajaune Brown.
