Everyone needs to remember that "Warne is doing better than some of us realise".

DRBee reacted to i-Ram in You might not realise it but Paul Warne's doing pretty well
I don’t hate Paul Warne, I don’t dislike Paul Warne, I just don’t rate Paul Warne and can’t stand listening to him. This isn’t a new thing for me, it’s how I have felt for about 5 years now.
I am now trying my very hardest to appreciate him, and results like that on Tuesday and away to Peterborough help me with that. If he gets us up this season I will acknowledge and enjoy the achievement, but I have said it a few times before that I think any broadly competent coach ought to be able to get this squad up this season. We have a strong squad in a very weak league.
However, I still don’t think whatever happens that his football is ever going to be particularly pretty or organised and for that reason I do hope if he does get us promoted we still consider replacing him with someone with a record of achievement in the Championship. If he fails for a second season he should be sacked regardless.
Up the Rams!

Whilst we have a manager who prefers not to have the ball than have it, I’m going to struggle to support him.
It’s amazing really - when the team plays football we score goals - all three at Blackpool were super, so why doesn’t he encourage that style of play more often?

This response is pure flannel - you can't ignore how poor our home form has been for months. Its to do with being rewarded travelling long distance to home matches by a good performance. I have no demand about finishing top 2 or whatever, but just want to watch good football at home matches. This will be a "turn round ". Even in some disappointing recent seasons our home form has been much better.

perhaps it was the home form that the poster was referring to.....then not quite so bizarre.

Or biffing Norman. (Also RIP) That would get extra applause.

Whatever camp you might be in to say just couldn’t score when we had pressure on is delusional , there is far more wrong than that.

Let me be unconstructive and criticise Warne for not being very good at using players in their best position. There is plenty of evidence but I just can't see how to make this constructive criticism except that it is the truth.

Very harsh about Cashin. Sure he gave the ball away quite a bit but he also saved us defensively. We know he can do
better, but he is having to cope with playing with some of the deadwood Warne has introduced yjis season.

Just because it produce numbers with complicated maths doesn't mean it has any value. I believe it misrepresents a game- for example a moment of brilliance from a goal scorer is undervalued by xg. shots , on and off target is more useful, and in the end the final score is what counts.

DRBee reacted to DerbyAleMan in Sonny Bradley
I think the international break will do him good, also can see him being a big player for us still, some players just take a little longer to settle, like Curtis Davis did, also Craig Short took a while, Sonny has not become a bad player overnight, apart from the 1 mistake against Bolton, he had a decent game. Lets get behind the lad, and support him through this tough start he has had.
