People getting upset about CK playing golf probably need to accept that DCFC is probably not the most important thing in his life (unsurprisingly).  He’s already implied this in many tweets (I think some people genuinely thought he’d fly over here for every game or move to Derby). This is a business deal to him. DCFC means very little to him on a personal basis. If the deal doesn’t go through then, to him, it will just be business. Not palatable for a fan, perhaps, but it is reality.
So I don’t see why anybody would expect him not to be going about his daily business and sticking to previous commitments, not least because he’s probably got a phalanx of lawyers and others doing his bidding. What is he likely to be able to do himself anyway?
Given his use of Twitter, I am a bit surprised by the lack of communication; I’ve always thought this would bite him on the bum because people would a: expect him to give running commentary on every aspect of his life and DCFC but also because any radio silence is taken as ominous (as I am now doing).

To be fair….that’s not ‘just a round of golf’!
A chance to play with the best pro pair, and all the networking opportunities and the fact it will have cost a fortune and been booked months ago. I can forgive him this one.

They didn't at the time .  As of 3 months ago yes but not prior.  People have different thoughts on this but we were absolutely done over retrospectively for me

Not an expert in the field either but I am in finance and just been through an acquisition of a company in Admin.
You can do a fair value adjustment on acquisition to value assets and inventory up or down but it is subject to audit and in my experience they are hot on it

Exeter got promotion along with FGR, so that's close away games for me. Now hoping for Plymouth to miss out on promotion for another away game to attend.

Losing Goddard would be the key factor in the difference between 1988/89 and 1989/90.
We were still a lot more competitive in 1989/90 though compared to 1990/91. I think knowing the chairman had lost interest and wasn't going to invest would have affected the players mindset... knowing the clubs immediate prospects with Maxwell around had peaked and were going fast in the wrong direction.
Despite a brief spell of form mid-season from Xmas on the wheels seemed to have truly come off. Still some great players though and a couple of memorable highlights.

From my very subjective research at the Supporters Club event last night, ? I think Lawrence, Ebiowei, Knight will go, possibly Sibley - seems genuinely upset he is not getting more pitch time. Kazim already gone in his head, didn't even bother to do the meet and greet bit of the evening. Whereas Plange and Ebosele really enjoyed themselves!
Morrison struggled to cope with being in a room with us all but seemed to appreciate the love.
Bielik is either a good liar or definitely wants to stay. He is such a good conversationalist, as are Ryan Allsop and Nathan Byrne - he seems keen to stay too, says he loves it here, but will surely get offers from Championship clubs.
All the rest of the young lads seem to want to stay, they love us fans. Let's see if they change their minds when the offers come in.
Cybulski was so excited to start but knew he needs to improve, says he wants to stay his whole career, which will no doubt thrill you cynics over in the matchday thread. ?
Wayne did comment in one of his speeches (he made several) that we need to be patient over the next couple of games as he will continue to be looking at potential within the squad for next season.  He didn't sound like he was going anywhere. ?

If it was purely for financial reasons, I could see Lawrence, Bielik, Buchanan, Byrne and Knight getting more money if they left. The average wage for a lower end Championship club is about the same as a top end League One club, and I can't see any mid-table or above Championship clubs wanting any of our players, (apart from the above mentioned). I don't think Davies, Stearman, Morrison, Bird, Forsyth or Roos would gain financially from leaving. (if Roos is on £16k, he won't be offered that again by anyone).

Most of the top League One teams have about 3/4 players on about £8k-£11k

Plymouth is a great city….lived here 6 years. The Barbican and The Hoe are stunning areas. Like everywhere it has its parts, but there is a decent centre with shops, recently rated top 10 nights out and the moors and golden beaches within 20 minutes.
