Old Spalding Ram got a reaction from Premier ram in Player of the half season?
Obviously Davies, Knight, Bird & Jags deservedly get the plaudits but someone like Stearman who has let nobody down, starts and gets man of the match award, and is then back on the bench, no moaning, no whinging and no Lakaku type criticism of the club deserves a mention.
Real professional old school type………………..a real asset for the second half of this season.

Id rather people just left the administrators get on with their job to be honest.
What difference is them providing answers to these questions going to make to the process?
Any negatives answers will play into the hands of any vultures circling around our youngsters, any positive answers will be passed off as spin or lies.
The only thing I want to hear from the administrators is when a deal is done, I dont even need to know who the preferred bidder is, its completely irrelevant to me and the whole process.

Unbelievable comeback but totally deserved. We not only fight to the end but we can play too.
First 20 or so minutes thought Reading shaded it but thereafter we were the better side. It was pretty sickening that both their goals came after spells of Derby pressure but this is the nature of Championship football, where dominance doesn't always get its just desserts. Massive credit then to the team for keeping their intensity, continuing to play & for believing even on 85 mins that a result was still there - the commentators sensed it was coming even at 2-0 & so did the fans.
Plenty of heroes in today's display but will begin with that midfield - Bird. Knight & Thompson were excellent and their control enabled us to boss the ball & later on to keep applying pressure. The football was really good to watch & they dominated the centre of the park to such an extent John Swift barely featured after the first half hour. The subs made a real impact - Ebosele's pace, Kazim's strength & Morrison's control all adding real quality to the proceedings. Brilliant timed too by Rosenior, just as Reading were noticeably flagging & sitting back.
Curtis Davies though - what a man, what a leader & what a header. Absolutely loved that celebration too - all the clubs he's played for over the years at the top level & it still means that much to him. Love him.
We're starting to create a reputation now. A group of players & fans that believe we're never out of games - its not unlike the atmosphere watching title chasing sides - every game is an event, every game the opposition know the points are never safe & the whole thing becomes a self-perpetuating reality - just what Rooney will have experienced most seasons at Man Utd.
7 points from 3 very difficult games in the space of a week. Excellent work Derby County ??

On their forum one poster wanted to know how we could still afford a team packed with “big names”, given our troubles?

Just got home from another great awayday.
Best bit of the day, that header.
Second best bit of the day, the post-match Radio Berks phone in.
Apparently, they were struggling for match fitness after three weeks rest, whereas we are all up to speed after our three easy wins;
Apparently, they have been badly affected by covid, whereas our club has not;
Apparently, they have been decimated by injuries to the extent that they are having to put academy players on the bench - aah! (Whereas we are having to rely on them in the first team, which they forgot to mention!)
Apparently their players aren't championship standard and are all freebies that no-one else would want.
The radio presenters tended not to agree with the above comments and the programme finished with a rerun of their commentary of the game's goals - over a soundtrack of Britney Spears' "Oops, I did it again". Comedy gold!

Yes Chadd Lad born and bred, I was in the year below Andy Rowland of Swindon Town fame.
Northcliffe United along with Rainbow Athletic and Carrabean All Stars were pretty much at the top of the tree in those days
I used to go and watch in the 60s Derby Roe Farm, Chris Fuller in goal, Eric Allsop at right wing, Fuller had trials with Aston Villa when Tommy Doc was there, Allsop went and signed for Bury, But came back as he was homesick.

Me is well blessed! I was going to have to watch on Sky, then my wife said she’d arranged a day out so I’d have to watch a re-run. But then I got some DCFC socks, a hand-painted BBG picture and tickets to the match, with chauffeur so I can have a few!
Indeed, ‘tis my birthday!!!

The schools go back this week so the nonense will hopefully subside a bit with the fake ITK accounts not able to use their phones during double maths.

What are the odds of both Boro and Wycombe pursuing this through the courts if we call their bluff and throw out their claims?
Whilst we are in the weaker financial position, we are in the stronger legal position. If it goes to court, the EFL will need to get on our side, they can't afford a legal precedent.

I read that Football League World (whoever they are) are predicting that January’s transfer business could see one player in and two out at Derby.
Their predictions are an extension to Phil Jagielkas contract, the two out are Tom Lawrence and Sam Baldock.
…………..If that’s the state of the squad at the end of January I’d be bloody ecstatic

Just been over to the oatcake Stoke thingy site. They want Mrs Moneybags 365 Coates to splash the cash for Bird, Knight, Festy……………….and Rooney!
Transfer window opens tomorrow, contracts expiring and everyone’s up for sale, I’ve got a bad feeling about the next few weeks!

I'm hoping the last 3 results will give potential buyers a nudge.
