This is such a surreal game for me. 
 
Forest Green is a tiny hamlet on top of pretty Cotswold town called Nailsworth, the town i grew up next to for 21 years.  I remember going to watch FGR with about 250 fans regularly in their old ground round the corner and playing there a couple of times for my school team.
 
Now, I'm going to watch FGR v Derby in a league game.  I never thought that would happen.
 
As a result, myself and all my mates (who all live in Forest Green/Nailsworth) have sorted a box for the day.  They are all closet FGR go see them once every year fans while I'm going to be supporting the mighty Rams.  
 
Jesus christ i hope we don't lose!!!

Whilst that was never a penalty (and how Sky suggested there was contact il never know) we need to look at ourselves properly. Plymouth are a good side and are second for a reason - they were always going to come out in that second half fighting and we allowed them to. 
 
How many times did we over hit a pass, rush our play or loop a header straight back to them when a white shirt was free close by??
We caused the pressure ourselves and we need to start learning from it. Warne’s philosophy of getting the ball forward quickly works when on the ascendancy but sometimes you need to slow it down and take control and we simply aren’t doing that when we need to and it’s costing us points!!

Got home at 1.00am due to the standard motorway closures!
First half was the worst i have seen in a while but influenced by Lincolns grit and determination.  Simple passes going astray (NML for their goal a prime example regardless of if the advantage should have been played or not) They deserved their lead. I lost track of how many times a simple defensive header should have been a controlled header to a Derby player yet bypassed every man in white straight to a Lincoln player!  Not good enough.
We simply looked lethargic and it took the Red for us to get going.  The Lincoln LB did a great job all game of nullifying NML all game.
Some of their time wasting was the most comical and frustrating i have seen but we had the chance to overcome that with 9 added minutes and didn't.  They deserved the draw and had a great voice most of game.
All in all a frustrating night and we must learn that teams will come to frustrate and we need to be better.
A word on the officials too who i rarely comment on - the ref lost control of that game being influenced by the crowd and players and theatrics of the opposition.  How the linesmen could get so many decisions wrong were a joke!  A different ref on a different day would have had a different outcome but the standard of the Refs in this league are awful.  Lincoln fans i spoke to agreed too.

Ahh good man.  There will be a few scattered about - just have to hope the midday beers don't make it too obvious!

Park somewhere centrally and walk over - its not far.  Bath Parade parking is a 15 min walk away and there is loads of on street parking in this area close to the town centre.  I live there albeit in the home end for this one being quiet!
